"Freemium" at its exorbitantly expensive worst. It is impossible to make progress without giving the publishers a great deal of money. It's not a bad game, but exorbitant costs are built into the game.

If the price of "nano pods" were reduced by more than 90% the game might be worthwhile. But the money-grubbing lives a foul taste..

Podcast handling utterly borked. If I wanted to see a listing of a million items I've already listened to this would be nice. Auto syncing subscriptions across devices without asking is stupid and annoying. My pet gripe about all software companies is when they decide they know better than you do what you want. And please, please let me kill old podcasts from the list. I really don't want to see or hear them again - I've already listened to them. When i delete them as I don't have infinite disk space I don't want them to reappear unless I ask for them. The listings become unusable. Now to find out how to roll it back to a version that does what I want.

It's a one trick pony. But it seems to do that trick very well. I'm not sure how realistic it is but I took off half a star for speed or lack thereof - it takes around 3 hours to go through 11,000 pictures. I feel it ought to be faster, but I've no idea if it could or how it could be faster.

It's easy to use, is explained well and the family licence is very cheap for what it offers.

And it has never fallen over on me. I suspect the dupes that creep in are due to syncing pictures across 5 Macs.

Why pay thirty bucks for what is available for free?

And then there are the ethical issues.

Google, as ever, is your friend.

Just works. Doesn't get in the way, unlike some others I've had no stability issues at all.

Back to a non-beta iOS as soon as possible for me.

The cloud stuff might work, but I don't care about that - just keeping he stuff that worked before would be good.

It now says my phone has 13.74 gigabytes capacity. (Of 16). There's also over a gigabyte of "Other" whatever that is. The phone had 4gigs free prior to the "upgrade", it now has 190 mess free.

Hopefully 5.0.1 will refresh all the stuff this broke. Like my inability to insert calendar entries on the phone now.
