A very nice app. My only complaint about it is that you have to enter a sum total for your income, which in my case is multi-faceted and changing each month as I am not on a regular salary at the moment.

It would be nice if you could add income in a piecemeal fashion with notes to indicate what each component is. I envisage a drop down sheet similar in structure to Apple's find dialogues. You have a field to enter the value, a field to say where it comes from (e.g. salary, freelancing, gift, interest, one-off payment, etc.) and plus/minus buttons to add or remove more rows. Then the app sums the total for you. Some record of your income per month would then be needed (e.g. a graph showing income versus outgoings over the course of the year).

Perhaps, as well as bills, it could also be used to track non-recurring costs as well.

Gah, continues to crash on BBC News website. What a waste of space.

It's rough around the edges, which is understandable as an early beta version, but it is extremely useful to have. Invaluable for showing what has been backed up and when by Time Machine, and for identifying files that have pushed up the size of those back ups.

There are a few stalls and pauses as it calculates the sizes of back-ups which can give the sense of a frozen app (especially immediately after launch) but, when left long enough, it eventually revives itself. Therefore, it could do with a more visual representation of what it is doing other than a simplistic spinning dial and "Please Wait".

UI and preferences need work to make the look and feel better, and improve the feature set (e.g. the option to use MB in place of MiB etc. - I find it harder to register the 'iB' nomenclature.

The latest 'stable' version (10.1.102.64) crashes almost every time whenever trying to play media at the BBC News website. This happens on both my Macs, my partner's Mac, and both my parents' Macs. This has been going on for months now.

Coupled with the crummy, non-standard installer that doesn't permit you to pick the location for your installation (root Library or your own user Library), the current stable release is dire.

This is a useful addition to your iPhone, but stability has always been a bit of an issue with larger PDFs. The Mac-side of the software (which is what you are downloading here) has always worked very well for me though.

I forgot to mention, I have an iPhone 3G so the stability issues are due to the lack of memory on that device more than anything. If you have a newer model iPhone, then it is less likely to be a problem.
