I have used my share of ftp clients such as Interarchy but mostly open source software such as Cyberduck. Interarchy no longer supports Mac OS X 10.3.9 and is expensive. Of all the ftp programs I've tried, I highly recommend Yummy FTP. Yummy FTP is fast and stable on my Power Mac G4 450 MHz (AGP graphics) PowerPC computer and very fast and stable on newer Power Mac G5 systems. Yummy FTP is my ftp client of choice.

I used a trial version Anarchie back in the early days when I could not afford to pay for it. I liked it so well that I wrote to Andrew N. Tomazos and the development team hoping to get a free license.

(I wrote: My name is Jamie and I just downloaded Anarchie 3.7. I like it and would like to know if I could use it for a while without registering. I am presently without a job so money is not plentiful to say the least. If I become gainfully employed in the very near future I would hope to register Anarchie. In the mean while I will play around with it so that I can learn it's features."

Reply: "Sure Jamie, please use this serial number:

Name: Jamie Thompson
Serial: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Regards,
Andrew.")

To my surprise they sent a registration number (license) to me and I have been using Interarchy ever sense. I have tried other ftp software apps but Stairways "Interarchy" is just as good if not better.
I use Interarchy today. Interarchy is constantly evolving to meet my needs so if you are patient you don't have to worry about this program failing you. Interarchy continues to get better and smarter.

I have used PageSpinner for many years now and my overall experience with PageSpinner on my PowerMac (10.3.9) is great! I use PageSpinner and Photoshop to build my websites. The PHP tutorials are excellent. PageSpinners also has a comprehensive and useful help section.

If you're brand new to writing HTML, the sample files and tutorials in PageSpinner will quickly have you on your way without forcing you to figure out how to do Tables, JavaScript or other advanced features.

The only thing missing from PageSpinner is a built in spell checker.
