Clean, straight-forward, intuitive.

Anything which keeps people away from the commandline gets my vote.

Marcel Bresink has discontinued development of Temperature Monitor Widget, and is no longer available from the author's website.

I'm surprised that there is no mention of "WebKit Leopard" here.

For those of use who prefer PowerPC (and we are legion) it is also possible to enjoy all the benefits of the latest Safari without sacrificing to the demons of Intel. Visit

A Chrome by any other name should smell as bad.

It's Google. ANYTHING touched or spawned by Google needs to not just avoided, but eradicated.

You want a blazingly fast, stable, open-source browser? Get Stainless. "Oh but Chrome is so much faster," you say? Try it. Next to Stainless, Chrome feels like Internet Exploder 5 all over again. And no-one bothers with Firepig any more.

This is no longer available for download.

One can replicate the idea by using AppleScript to play a sound at zero volume once every twenty seconds.

What was once a powerful yet elegantly simple communications tool that had the rare aspect of an almost-identical cross platform feature-set, has become an ungainly, problematic, confusing, spam-attracting, life-and-privacy-stealing, unstable, incompatible, malware-loaded disaster at the hands of Microsoft.

I implore you, do ***NOT*** install this privacy-eradicating mistake.

I implore you to tell all of your friends and family to un-install Skype and shift to Yahoo Messenger, as it is the last viable, useful instant-message system available.

I implore you to write long and detailed letters to Microsoft's Skype team, become members of the Skype forum just so you can repeatedly accuse them of MURDER.

If you really wish to keep using the Live Messenger service, I urge you to make friends with some people in China who can help you set up a VPN between you and they, which will gain you access to the last remaining MSN network on the planet.

If it were possible to give Skype a negative rating, there would be three significant digit's worth of anti-stars. At least.

(Dear MacUpdate Staff: Please revise your ratings system to allow a zero-star review posting; there is absolutely no hope in hell that Skype 6 deserves even the 0.5 star pittance your irreverent and disrespectful system currently enforces. Thankyou.)
