Bloody brilliant. This is a plugin I paid more than happily for! My only gripe is with Leopard that has turned a plugin into a launcher...

I should have read the posts before posting... I am then patiently waiting for the release of Saft as a plugin again :)

Grr74 had trouble on 23 Jul 2008
I tried Glims and ended up breaking Safari. I am running Safari with Saft and Inquisitor. After installing Glims, Safari used 100% of the CPU. Now having unistalled Glims, Safari still pushes the CPU to 100%. Also I should point out that Glims also installs itself in ~/Library/Application Support as well as in the root folders. I don't know what changes of made, but something went wrong. Backing up from
Time Machine now. (Just realized that beta can potentially make a mess of things)...

I am sorry if I sounded harsh, but I installed Glins for the preview effect of google searches. Then upon restarting the mac and launching Safari, the CPU went to 100% and syslog also flared up. I have not installed any other software for a long time.
I run 10.5.4 with the latest version of Safari. I also have Saft, inquisitor, adblock (don't remember the name as time machine is still ticking away), speed download and 1Password (both of which I guess also integrate with safari).
This being the case with me being the only one, I guess that is good news. The app looked like something I would have wanted.
Reason for me restoring now is that the CPU did not drop down to normal even after removing Glims when running safari.

I just made a full backup of my system and tried the latest version of Glims. It works now and I got my site previews from Google and Yahoo. No more troubles!
