The auto language change feature for input versus target language is slick. I would like to see a more robust and demanding spaced-retention system, as the five levels included do not give enough exposure to a single card. But, over all, I am much happier with Wokabulary than with other flash card programs for the Mac.

Reference and document syncing between the desktop and iPad version has worked flawlessly for me through the past term, including annotations. One of the features of Sente that has amazed me the most is the web browser which auto-detects citations while browsing academic sites and auto-adds PDFs to the relevant reference.

I've been using Mental Case as a study aid for several years. The feature set has almost everything I could use for flashcards. The exceptions are multiple choice answers and 2+ card sides. According to the developer, those features will both be included in the 2.0 update.
The sync option works well with the iPad & iTouch, and the ability to create cards on the go in the mobile apps adds even more value to them.
Highly recommended.

I tried out Speed Download and all of the apps that were part of the MacHeist bundle a while back. Speed Download was the only app I found useful out of the offerings, so I bought it directly from Yazsoft. I have a 256Kbs internet connection, however I rarely topped out my bandwidth on single file downloads from most sources. Speed Download changed that. Almost every file I download now comes blazing down. I'm not sure how the technology works. Perhaps some sort of multiple connection for each file it cues, however it does work well. My Bandwith meter now stays maxed at 256 almost all the time.
I'd LOVE to see this program add support for RSS feed downloads. It has made a huge difference in my Usenet & Internet Music store downloads.

I love this little app. I've been an Opera user for many years. My favorite feature of Opera has been the ability to use the f2 key as a shortcut and search trigger. Keywurl allows me do get the similar functionality in Safari. I don't think I'll be leaving Opera any time soon, but this closes the gap for me a little.
