The linked version is 64 bits and it warns you that VLC 64 bits may be needed. There's a button to let it try anyway but it didn't work for me.

As of this writing there is no VLC 64 bits, but you can still go to the product site linked below the download link, and grab the 32 bit version of Handbrake.

Brilliant! Until now I shut the laptop down to safely clean the keyboard, and because of it wasn't cleaned as often as a black MacBook needs.

This little utility takes over keyboard and mouse input, its interface is obvious, a black screen with instructions to exit (just command-Q). Perfect!

Excellent utility, the interface does just what it has to do, simple, and the bowl sounds are wonderful.

Great utility! Man pages look really nice, Safari is always opened in my desktop so Bwana is available right there at the tip of your fingers, and links to mentioned man pages are very useful.

As a side note, I call it via Sogudi, this way I can type a space instead of a colon (I prefer it and in addition it is consistent with the rest of shortcuts), and can easily have a perldoc alias for man, which looks more familiar to me for Perl documentation.

I'll add to the new page a positive comment, to catch up with the ones there were in the original before the deletion.

This application rocks, it is my preferred launcher. The interface is very well balanced in my opinion, it does a great job in the least intrusive manner.

I prefer the keyboard to the mouse, and since I installed Quicksilver my dock is always hidden, I don't use it anymore to launch applications, even not to switch to most of them.
