The quality of the output is not nearly as good as native Mac conversion. Yes, it's fast, but it's far from the best available sound or the best available video quality. When I want a truly good presentation, I go elsewhere for my conversions.

The biggest issue with Chrome for me is its incessant data mining of the user. It took me days just to close off all the security holes this collection of code created on my Mac. I still keep that old version onboard, but I will not update/upgrade, because it just means going through all the effort to secure it each time from such unwarranted intrusion.

I was unable to install with the standalone installer. I spent far too much time trying, reading Console and other diagnostics for clues. It was a total dud, the same configuration error over and over again. I've been a developer for a couple of decades, and I can usually fix things like this. I had to adjust the control panel and update through the browser, which I don't like doing.

Over all, very disappointed. It takes several long minutes to load all the preview thumbnails, even though maybe 20% of them don't load properly, if at all. Then the effects more often don't load to the screen than do when selected. And it's crash crazy, causing it to reload everything all over again in order to continue. The filters are mostly trashy and useless, because they are not set properly, too dark or too garish. I could get what I wanted manually applying filters and effects in Photoshop in less than half the time. A waste of hard drive space.

Yawn.... Adobe has seen the last of my money.

5.0 is solid and dependable and creates excellent quality videos, far better than any other conversion engine available. It takes a while finding everything, but such is the way of most quality tools in a production environment. If you deal in video formatting of any type, get this one. A steal at twice the price.

Can someone name a bank where I can deposit the winnings from this game? I'm having all sorts of trouble exporting my winnings.

Been using this gem for years and love it. However, in Dec. 2009, NOAA changed the header for alerts ( ), and the app has not been updated to adapt to the changes. It's a minor inconvenience to check them manually, but after 20 months without a fix, I have to wonder if the app is still being supported.

I really liked version 1.0 of Fishdom, but the new game manager that Big Fish is now using has stopped me from trying any of their current games.

Very handy in most RAR cases.

Needs a password dialog.

It would be handy when the archive contained multiple files, to create a folder to contain it all, rather than let it flood the current folder. It's a hassle to create a new folder and drag the archive into it every time to be safe.
