Please be aware that version 1.4.2 no longer supports Mac OS X 10.6. You will have to revert to a backup if you install it.

Java needs to be enabled. Isn't that detrimental?

At first you will use BetterSnap Tool once in a while. After a few weeks you will find it quite useful and after a longer period, not having it is just not an option. The new customizable snap areas give you the ability to create specific size and position for your windows. A truly smart addition to an already great software.

It seems this is now officially a product of Indeeo Inc. Clicking of the developer's site link above will no longer bring you to MacPowerUser Software. I wish MacUpdate would update the info so as to show the present product description IE version 2.0.3

As mentioned on the developer's website, the Videotron Internet Usage Monitors "are now officially unsupported"
That sucks, but I did enjoy the ride. Thank you Guillaume.

I am confused. I have had version 1.0.6 for weeks and on top of that version 1.0.7 is announced on the new App Store.

I must admit, Growl grew on me. I wondered why anybody would use this. I am now at a point where I wouldn't be without it. I use screen zoom with the control key quite a lot. Usually my zoom hides the areas where a Growl message would pop up. I wish there where a Display Style that gave me the option to pop the notification right in the centre of the screen.

Wow! and double wow! I can't believe how powerful this is. It is such an optimum tool to quickly capture the main types of information such as text, images, bookmarks, web pages, pdf.
This tool even shows up in the service menu and print to pdf menu and these are but a few of the ways to get the same thing done: shove important information. And syncing with the mobile app on your iPod touch or iPhone is a perfect example of how it should be done. The author mentions that Spotlight will soon search any captured text file in ShoveBox. Well triple wow!

Version 1.4.2 has stopped working on my iMac 0S X 10.6.8. An eMail to the dev came back saying it was undeliverable after 2 hours. This comment is in the hope he looks here once in a while.

I keep getting an annoying error message after each manual updates. Anyone else getting an Update Error! message when using the Check for Updates option. Should I delete and reinstall?
