I have been researching blog-writing tools for awhile now and had finally decided on MarsEdit. The one thing I couldn't figure out how to do though is lists, mostly unordered. I stumbled upon BlogAssist and immediately loved it, but couldn't justify spending the money on something to help with "just lists." Well, it went on sale over at MacZOT and I instantly snatched it up. I'm so glad I did, as it does do so much more than lists and it has really helped me learn and understand the basics of HTML. Plus, I love its menubar presence, super easy to use and very effective.

I would highly recommend this and it works extremely well in conjunction with MarsEdit.

I've been using this for the past 2 days and I must say, I'm really loving it. It may very well replace SnowTape and Radio Gaga for me. I love the ease of the menubar icon and it uses very little system resources, less than the other 2 mentioned programs. Although to be fair, neither SnowTape or Radio Gaga uses much memory.

Very easy to use, very easy to set up, oh yeah, and it does Sirius/XM too. So now it very well replace Pulsar for me as well. SWEET!

I'm a sucker for a menubar icon instead of a dock icon, what can I say.

It's a very nice piece of software, I would recommend it.

I love this and have been using it for a couple of months now. It's a front end to BusyCal for me, and allows me very quickly to see my day/tasks without having to open the calendar. I can quickly add events/tasks and it appears instantly in BusyCal (and vice versa.) I can print my day/tasks directly without having to open my calendar It's been extremely stable, zero crashes or issues.

I have tested its effectiveness with Things, and it syncs immediately, no matter if the task is entered from Things (syncs immediately to Today) or the task is entered in Today (then syncs immediately with Things.)

I like having access to it in my menubar, and it uses precious little system resources. I use it to very quickly see my events and tasks for the day without having to open BusyCal and Things.

Is it necessary for me? Most definitely not. But it's so convenient and saves a few clicks every morning when I just want to view an outline of my day.

Very well done, and I would recommend this product!

I was skeptical at first of all the raves of this program. I had been using Voila (got it in a MU Promo) and was happy with Voila. But decided to give Skitch a try because of all the positive reviews and why not, it's free!

I have totally fallen in love, it's so easy to use and I love the drag me feature. So simple and genius! It doesn't have as many features as Voila, but the main features are there.... you can add text, add arrows, circles, etc. And it uses very little system resources (15.8mb!)

I love how it gives you a link to embed an image, or use it in a forum, or just send the URL. Very well done, very simple, and a pleasure to use.

My only wish would be for an auto-save feature. It doesn't save your screen capture unless you drag it or otherwise click it to history.

Otherwise, highly recommended!

I have been using this for a couple of weeks now and I find it outstanding. I use it to update my wordpress blog, and it's so easy to use. I love the preview mode so you can see instantly how things are going to look. But I guess my favorite thing is you can write/edit a blog entry without actually being online. I travel quite a bit and use it in airports then wait til I have a connection to upload it. Works very well. I would recommend this!

I picked this up for free from MU (thank you!) and was skeptical about its usefulness. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and what I've found is I really like it. I was using Macaroni before, which I really loved but it hasn't been updated in a very long time. So I gave this one a try.

What I like is it doesn't take a lot of system resources (7.7mb as I write this.) It's easy to configure and I really like the batch tasks and the control you have over what runs.

Maybe it's just me, but this seems very fast in comparison to Macaroni (which seemed to take minutes to do the same tasks.) I'm a big growl fan so of course that's a plus for me!

I would recommend this app.

Was skeptical at first, but once I downloaded it and tried it for a few days, I purchased a license. I use BusyCal, and a minor annoyance is Chronicle does open iCal when you save a bill, but it instantly updates in BusyCal so it's really more of an annoyance than a problem. Now I get alarm notifications on my mac via BusyCal but also on my iPhone when a bill is due.

Like the poster below, I also have most of my bills via e-bills and no longer receive paper bills. This program is a huge help in maintaining my organization of all bills and then reminding me when they are due. Highly recommended!

I have been using 1Password for a couple of years now and I find it indispensable. it keeps getting better and better, and I rely on it every single day. I love that it will generate random passwords that it will then remember for you. I also love that I can enter my credit card details into the program and when I make online purchases, it will fill the information out for me with just one click. I know it will also keep track of serial numbers, which is nice, but I already have a program dedicated for that.

I can't recommend this program enough, I would find it difficult to own a Mac and not install it immediately.

I also own the iPhone version and although I don't use it often because I don't surf often on the phone, when I do use it I'm glad to have 1Password installed.

Tech support is extremely responsive, too.

I have been using this for the past few weeks and finally decided to purchase a license. I don't use the FTP function much, but it's one of the best when you need it. What I really love is the dual-pane appearance and the ability to delete an app from within the application. I also use AppCleaner and this seems to work equally as well.

One last thing, and I'm positive this was user-error, but I was trying to copy/paste a new icon replacement and using the Finder, the icon wasn't visible, just a generic ICNS file that looked like a pdf. So I switched to ForkLift and was easily able to copy/paste the exact same icon and it worked perfectly. Don't know why, don't care, but it worked. :)

Just bought this today for 50% off via MacZOT, and it's totally worth it. Does exactly what it claims to and does it well. The recording works very well and is extremely easy to convert to AAC/MP3 files for playback on my iPhone. Definitely relaxing, soothing, and takes the edge off! Highly recommended.
