Still available in only three languages for the Mac, but a lot more for Windoze - guess they got their priorities a bit off these days ... .

The latest 4.5 version works really well on the Mac (10.8.3) now! No pop-up with commercial for a service you cannot buy anyway (living outside north america) and generally quicker and very robust in all ways.

Great product of course! But one thing irritates me a lot lately: why only be able to see the last three changed files - that is virtually useless … I need to be able to see at least the last 10-15 file changes and be able to see in which (sub-)folder these files are located in. Much room for improvement still with Dropbox!

Most versions of Opera has worked well, even if not as well as Safari. Opera is a good third choice after Safari and Firefox on the Mac. Google Chrome is rather similar to Safari (Chrome is only more clumsy, with more things going on behind the scenes, keeps updating and has become less good lately, but could be good if one does not want Flash anywhere else on browsers). I have not experienced any real problems with Opera lately, but also only uses it with one or two websites open at a time. While with Safari there are constant problems handling Flash content and other web content, but Safari still is easiest and quickest to use most of the time. Firefox updates are frequent and plugin functionality is being broken (almost) daily (still no good inline PDF plugin since version 3.6.28, which I keep for banking reasons and it is also fairly stable). It is good that the browsers do not work exactly the same way as we would then have no recourse to something else if one browser fails. Webpages looks best in Safari and it is easiest/fastest to use, so should be the default choice for most people.

Still valuable as iTunes has not become any better over the years in helping out with printing Song-lists, booklets etc. (I managed to print out without the beta-cross across the songs by just cmd+print (but then only get the song-list …).

What is that talk about 400 MB of RAM ... - iTunes 11 uses 44 MB right now after having been open for an hour.

Now when playing something in it, it uses a whopping 72.5 MB … .

(Likely it will consume a bit more MB if I had my larger external library attached.)

Still not possible to download this and the iPhoto (though I managed with that on another computer) Apple update through the App store.

Will Adobe ever make a version of this actually works at all?

The problems I ran into today with Flash might not be 100% related to Flash (but it was a popular Flash functionality on the web and it sure does not work with the latest Flash beta either). If only Apple could have made their own formats a bit more serious contenders … .
