I did make a credit-card-free-iTunes-user-account. I downloaded "Soundcloud" from the AppStore, registered a SoundCloud-Account, and when I started the Application, it just stalled and nothing happened. I wrote a very bad review about this and Apple allowed it. That was a surprise because I criticized specially Apple for having such nonsense in the store. Funny enough, the AppStore is the only place u can download "Soundcloud".

Is it that: when u dl an app from that store, that app has not the same access to the system as an app u regularly install? I assume the Firewall did not allow incoming connections and it also didn't ask for allowing connections.

But… from Apple's Point Of View, I assume, the AppStore is as perfect as that iPhone never had any troubles (hahahahahaha). Just don't try to send a message or do a phone-call. Same with the AppStore: if u don't download and install anything, it just works perfect :) It's so funny. I think I'm still stoned from that colorish AppStore-Front Page. Cheers.

=> installed it via Software Update; was flawless; didn't recognized any changes yet, but at least, my MacBook Pro i5 Mid 2010 seems to work as good as before.

BTW: MacUpdate's Software-Listing is much better than Apple's AppStore - Apple missed to design the page in a user-friendly way, I assume it is because u can show more icons and stuff in one page (= more $$$).

EVERYTHING in Apple's AppStore is for registered iTunes User ONLY (I think u need a credit card to register?).

That AppStore looks a like a Walt Disney Website or something I want to lick; so many shiny delicious icons and colors placed in one page. It probably gets u high in 2 minutes but you won't find that app u want. Does it matter ? :)

That update via software update was flawless, but haven't tested or used much since the update. Just wanna let u know that the update process went well. (MacBook i5, from 10.6.4 to 10.6.5, no third-party-stuff installed).

Happy Beachballing! Since some user wrote here that all beachballling is gone, I gave it another try. What did I get? Beachballing, extremly long time to quit, everything is slow as hell. It's no fun to use. Luckily I found another client which does everything faster and better.

I just told what happened. I will never launch Transmission again because I don't have time to wait for an application and I use since 3 Months "uTorrent" which never failed me, NEVER beachballed, downloads extremly FAST and handles LARGE torrents also very well as small torrents.

As your statements sounds I assume you are mostly downloading music-files and small stuff like that. I don't.

There's just no point to tell me that my computer is not ok. Because on the same computer, uTorrent works perfect. Or could it be the new-moon?

Just for u folks which had tested this app some years ago: test it again. The GUI is new and it's very good (it's in Mac-Style nowadays).
The code/core is ROCK-SOLID. You will instantly recognize that it does everything faster than other clients. Some things are yet not implemented but for sure that will come.
This project goes the right way: stable code => nice GUI ( and not: fancy GUI and bad code). Enjoy.

Comes as an installer (I did not launch it). Does the installer install anythin into the system and if so why? What is the "PACE Anti-Piracy" & "InterLok® Engine" - Extension/Helper/Bundle-Stuff which is eventually installed? Is this a copy protection someone can install to protect their own game or what else? Does someone knows more... ?
