Not good at all, as it's been mentioned, a quite soon upgrade price, that would be like $100-$150 in 12-13 months perhaps?, now with the introduction of Parallels Access while they killed Parallels mobile in order to charge another $79 per year, now they seem a very greedy company. If there's a real need of using windows, nowadays you can get hold of a cheap windows machine for those $150 or use bootcamp. Back in the days, virtualisation seemed as good deal but not now.

On my side, I didn't have problems with 10.8.2 and this update to 10.8.3 has been smooth and Safari feels faster. So far, no problems and the system seems a lil more responsive. I updated via App Store.

I've using ML with DP, Safari now is "fast" and quite integrated with gestures. I can stop sites to determine my location, or tracking me... stable, "fast", iCloud integration, offline reading lists (brilliant), reader and gestures... for my needs is great!!!... as for RSS there's this plugin: http://www.tuaw.com/2012/07/26/mountain-lion-get-your-rss-button-back-in-safari-6/.... I never used it before because of the amount of storage it took before, for a good RSS reader "Pulp" it's better and dedicated for such a feature, I've got it for $1.99 when it was as an offer... and of course, no flash, HTML5 video works like a charm in my MBA 2011...

Utter crashing with the new MBA, crappy with retina MBP, "fast" reddening, dodgy versioning, spyware all over... rendering "fast", what kind of internet connection have you got people, 32k landline?... not gesture comply???... because you are a "web developer" you rather have all those "native" features instead of going bootcamp and see how "really" behave, because you know using Chrome in OS X, it behaves quite different than in windows... and you keep rating high?... sad, tragic or pathetic... oh, alright, keep feeling "fast", been using Safari 6, no crashing, feeling "fast", no spyware, "logic" versioning (before Chrome such versioning was crap), and giving Google more power over Apple?.... what's wrong/ right with you people, give more right than wrong...

so you can understand it... thank you but no... perhaps your grammar could be fine, but it is just dismissed by your "proper" try to troll... fancy this grammar or a better one, if you understand, of course...

Been using Apple since IIe, I've been through all iterations of OS and there's always been evolution. As the prior post before, claiming how crap or iOS this Mountain Lion is becoming, it's clear that you haven't check some other features not disclosed by the press such as a better memory management, Safari is really an outstanding browser changing the concept of "fast" with a smooth rendering, great usability using gestures, it's just brilliant, the optimised mail application, feeling snappier and stable... apart from all those "iOS features" this is a very stable, fast and reliable built. I fancy the AppStore because all applications are tested, proven and endorsed by Apple, no more installers or else, just download and install, simple... and I know is what many Apple users love, still if you want to do "real" or "power user" things, Terminal is still there to do all what you please with the system...
This system is pure joy using gestures with a trackpad, it really changes the workflow and makes the whole experience better. And at $20, it's just brilliant... at the end, if you don't fancy it, don't use it.

@Penguirl, in such a tone, therefore I shall not waste our time telling you what you want to know or not... there's a powerful thing called UNIX via Terminal... and since you bring up the "utilities" folder, therefore you are talking about an ageing CS3 at least, and no I don't try to preach you, in contra-resonance that you think is the gospel for you, at the very end, Apple and the rest shall keep going with you and without your consent, sadly for you... and for me, I don't demonised nor condemn anyone who thinks better tahn myself, and thank you for being so pompous and arrogant to defense your view in grounds of Davidehoervermoon, and his higher mind... as myself doesn't have the "higher mind" to say such things lightly, if you must... therefore, as is stated do what you think is right and say you want even if you can not proof anything than "I don't fancy" and "I smarter so i can discern who think is smarter than myself"....

good point, but still before DOS was BASIC, and before that were those Punch cards!, lol and there were "full screen"... nowadays I've seen so many "young experts " wasting resources having 50 tabs open listening but not watching youtube, (4 tabs) playing flash games( 5 at least), "aware" of twitter (another 10 tabs), "aware" of Facebook and so on, at the end they only reply to the mom, bf/gf, friends and leave 100 windows opened, able to reply 5... and they blame the machine being slow because it can not keep with 50-100 apps open, such a waste... when only 3 windows is enough.. O.o

I've been using this one as online backup tool. I've got a dropbox account but I don't use it, too limited. I've been using this on Mountain Lion and works flawlessly, the synchronisation is great and I haven't experience none of the CPU problems... perhaps because I just used it as once per week or when I need to backup or synchronise something important, I never used it 24/7, because takes lots of resources as any other online tool, being Dropbox, Pogoplug,etc... it is slow, but that's the price to pay for something free

I did the update via Software update, and worked fine. Still, I downloaded the combo update and installed and it runs better!!!... Snapier and more responsive on my side, I recommend the Combo Update instead using the Software Update

I've tried this browser using Lion 10.7,2,in my MBA 2011, but at the moment to use the bookmarks, it's frozen my MBA. It only happens when trying to access the bookmarks, mind you, when there are not bookmarks

On my side, this version is more stable, I used to have some random crashes but it seems more stable. As for the memory usage, it seems a lil bit reduced, nonetheless I'm using Lion 10.7.2 and the memory management is terrible anyway.
I haven't experience other reported problems.

I'm evaluating it and it's quite a pleasure to use under Lion in my MBA 2011. It's quite good for managing folder for a projects, it feels quite intuitive and lean. I'll give 5 stars if it has got the ability to automatically add a new drive or network drive as they are connected to the computer as a place. I can do it using the service of "reveal the selected item in Raskin", but if that can be done, that would be brilliant!!!
