BEWARE! This developer is sort of a thief! He originally charged $20 for Sapiens. Then never responded to any inquiries from his clients. After several years of zero development/upgrades for Sapiens now he reappears and wants to charge another $4.99 for an upgrade that's way overdue... And soon he'll be charging $14.99!!!! PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS KIND OF DEVELOPER!!!! DON'T BUY THIS APP!!!! There are much more honest and serious developers out there that are worth our support. This people should've stayed closed and never reopen.

UPDATE - I just got an email from the developer of the app and he apologizes for the lack of support and communication over the last few years. No excuses he says in the email. He's intentions seem to be genuinely good, so perhaps a second chance for his come back wouldn't be a bad idea at all. And who knows... maybe SAPIENS IS BACK THIS TIME TO STAY...

These people charge a good amount of money for their software - which I gladly paid when I first got Sapiens. But now after almost 2 years of zero updates and taking forever to come up with a Snow Leopard solution all I can say is: wake up Donelleschi, this is not the kind of service we clients expect from a product that costs $20!!!

1 star rate as all the good features from Sapiens are worthless at the moment.

I downloaded Mellel today to give it a try. Unfortunately the developers of this program decided to include an annoying pop-up window that reminds you constantly that you're trying their software and that you haven't paid for it yet. I don't know about the team behind Mellel, but when I'm writing the last thing I need is a useless window popping-up with a dumb message every few minutes or so. Of course I know I'm evaluating this program, of course I haven't paid for it yet, and of course I'm going to lose some of its features if I don't buy it... That's the whole point of giving the user a FREE TRIAL PERIOD, or isn't? So, after a few VERY UNPLEASANT encounters with this "friendly" reminder I completely lost my concentration, selected was I was writing, copied it and paste it back onto MS Word, quit Mellel and threw it in the trash. So, your trial period was completely useless and an absurd waste of time for you and me. You might as well get rid of it all together, since it doesn't allow the user to test your program. It acts more like a mindless commercial for your product, but if that's what you're looking for, you'd be better off paying some little money to and add agency which might be able to help you out instead of using this CHEAP TRICK. Good luck with Mellel, but this extremely dissatisfied customer is not coming back.

MovieChapterizer shows a lot of promise with a nice UI and a fast and reliable delivery of the final file, but support for a wider variety of formats like flash, and h264 is a must before considering charging for it.

I look forward to downloading the next version.

I would've given You Control: Desktops a 5 stars review if it weren't for the lack of control that an user has to decide if he/she wants to switch from one desktop to another once he/she closes an application. I emailed the developers about this situation, but they've ignored my suggestion in every update so far. So, even though I've been an user of this application for over two years now, it annoys me that they would continue developing such an useful app without including such a simple option: switch or not switch to the next desktop after all the apps have been closed in the current desktop.

I recently adquiered Hijack iTunes and since then my life has become a little bit easier.

Hijack iTunes is a very straightforward tool that allows you to record multiple files from iTunes trhough Audio Hijack Pro.

The reason why I consider this program so ingenuos and efficient is because it allows you to quickly select what iTunes playlist you wanna record and what Audio Hijack set-up you wanna use for the recording. You don't have to waste your time going through endless menus and configurations, you click and choose and that's it. You're ready to go! Then, you let Hijack iTunes do the rest. You can record a whole audiobook overnight and when you wake up in the morning you'd find new universal playable files for each one of the original only-playable-in-iTunes files, completely labeled and organized in the destination you previously selected.

There's no doubt Hijack iTunes is worth the money and the support is just great!

I hope the developer keeps improving this amazing tool.
