Best MenubarCalendar so far. Date/time format is fully customizable. In OSX.8.5 it still works fine most of the time, but crashes about two times in a week (it quits itself; if this happens, just re-open it), so an update would be great after three years...

On OSX.8.2 it darkens the menubar for some minutes or an hour, but then suddenly the menubar is lightgrey as normal so that you have to open MenuEclipse again, make your setting again, close it again ... After this it darkens the menubar for some minutes or an hour, but then suddenly the menubar is lightgrey as normal so that you have to open MenuEclipse again, make your setting again, close it again ... After this it darkens the menubar for some minutes or an hour, but then suddenly the menubar is lightgrey as normal so that you have to open MenuEclipse again, make your setting again, close it again ... After this it darkens the menubar for some minutes or an hour, but then suddenly the menubar is lightgrey as normal so that you have to open MenuEclipse again, make your setting again, close it again ... etc.pp.

Drag any font onto XfontInfo to view its typeface without having to install/activate that font. Free. Easy. Fast. Great. Period.

Unfortunately for PPC only. Please update, dear dev. *****

Since the end of 2011 the WinVersion (via Apple's Bootcamp) is absolutely free2play now: No time limit, no charlevel limit! =) Only some races, classes and special abilities are inaccessible in free2play, but that doesn't matter. And EQ2 (Win/Bootcamp) is free2play, too!

MagiCal is the best MenuCal ever. Works great in my OSX.8.2, very nicely done! I'm just missing a simple alarm timer and some other features:

+ Misc> Alarm> Popup window at [HH]:[MM] o'clock with message [_______]

+ Time> Icon> Borderless with dots

+ Time> Icon> Borderless with longer hands

+ Date> Icon> Display: Day only

Then it would be
p e r f e c t .

What tha hack ... Where is a new version? Did the developer die? We all need an evolving Vox 1.0 for OSX.8.2 and not just an outdated Bügelhilfe...

To find files and text contents, I prefer FileBuddy or EasyFind etc. instead of Spotlight. Spotlight always tries to scan volumes which can annoyingly stress these volumes and abrade them. It even slows down volume performances by indexing while you are working on those volumes. In OSX.8 you can exclude volumes from being indexed via Spotlight's prefpane, but what if you have dozens of external drives and USB sticks (like me)? Why not simply deactivate Spotlight completely? Please update Spotless for OSX.8.2! Finally! Urgently! (Hey Apple, thanks for the big OFF button in Time Machine; but where is the OFF button for Spotlight???)

Every function of LiteSwitch 2.7 works in my OSX.8.2, except: After every login or reboot, it is not running until I open its prefpane, then it popups a window saying "Note: In order to enable Apple-Tab, the Dock must first be quit and relaunched. This will cause all minimized windows to be expanded. Do you wish to proceed? No/Yes", then I click "Yes" and the Dock relaunches, and ONLY THEN LiteSwitch works completely — until next startup/login. :(

VLC 1.1.8, PPC, OSX.5.8: If I change "Prefs >Hotkeys >LongJumpBackwards:alt-sft-cmd-lft" to "LongJumpBackwards:c" and click "Save", then this shortcut "c" does not work. Instead, the shortcut "Prefs >Hotkeys >LongJumpBackwards:alt-sft-cmd-lft" reappears in the list. BIG BUG! And: If I change "Prefs >Hotkeys >(*) Basic" to "Prefs >Hotkeys >(*) All", then the hotkey list shows popup menus which cannot be clicked/changed. Why?

I watch fullscreen and always place the controlpanel into the buttom right monitor edge. But the next time I start VLC, the controlpanel is in the middle again. Why, why, why...? Can't it even save a simple panel position? (PPC1.1.5)
