This just saved me from taking a 20 mile trip thru a snow storm.

We use old DOS software for calculations where I work and sure enough they needed help while I was home. My Windows box decided it didn't want to boot on me and I found Boxer. Works great for my needs, and saved me quite a bit of hassle. Couldn't be easier and of course you can't beat the price!

It does work on a Mac OS extended formated drive. Thats what I'm currently using. Also the game allows you to play against both Mac and PC users if your still wondering.

The actual game itself is great, but multiplayer is where it really is at. The perks system keep this game fresh. Easily one of the best online games out right now.

Now the game does have its issues. Performance isn't all that hot on my 2.8 dual core iMac with 4GB's of RAM and 512MB 8800 card. This computer runs Crysis on higher settings flawlessly, but on COD4 I have to turn a decent number of things down to keep a high frame rate on a busy map. Also the patch didn't go smoothly. I was force to manually install it for it to work.

I downloaded Transmission wanting to get away from Azureus's over bloated program. I really don't usually need all that extra junk that comes with it. All I want is something simple that can download my torrents fast. Unfortunately Transmission fails at this badly on my computer.

For what ever reasons I can not download most torrents any where near as fast as Azureus could. I mean its not even close. Been working on a 4GB file for 5 days now on what would of took me a afternoon before hand. Even smaller files take much longer.

I know I got all the settings right. I've checked it nearly every other hour I've been home thinking I had to of not configured something right. So far no luck. Going on to Transmissions forum I see there are a few other people with my problem.

So I guess your mileage can vary. Of course its a free program so I really do hate to complain. I know there are plenty of people out there that love it, I'm just not one of them.
