An interesting time saver, but why just CDR-W? Why not an external hard drive or DVD-RAM? I sure would like to be able to use the DVD-RAM drive on an old G4 to clean up my iTunes library!

I have used Indigo from its earliest release and up through the current beta of version 2. I use it in my home to automate lights and devices including iTunes. Indigo supports both X10 and INSTEON devices and has allowed me to upgrade my existing X10 devices to the much better INSTEON without ANY trouble.

Indigo allows for amazing customization through its excellent implementation of Actionscript support. This allows me to integrate all kinds of amazing things including a Bluetooth proximity detection system to control my house automatically.

I cannot say enough good things about this amazing application and the excellent developer responsible for it. The support is first class, the product is stable, and the developer is constantly rolling out new, innovative features. The new (since version 2) client/server structure is phenomenal and I love the web-based control pages that are easy to create and implement.

As new INSTEON devices are released, Indigo will grow more and more powerful. I highly recommend this application!

A great application, but now with recent updates to iPhoto, it is hobbled. You don't always appreciate the tools you have until you lose them!

Please. Update KA soon...

A very interesting and useful product, TrailRunner is undergoing frequent updates and new features are seemingly adder daily. It still has some rough edges on it, but becoming quite a nice application. The documentation is a little rough and some of the functionality of the application isn't totally intuitive, but I already find it to be a useful program and have high hopes for it in the very near future.

The route and track creation is a little funky, but works nicely once you figure out its quirks. The tools don't quite follow industry standards (like clicking with the magnifying glass doesn't currently zoom, but you can drag a zoom selection and that works).

The ability to import a steadily growing list of images and file types makes this application more and more relevant.

Keep up the good work and invest in a thorough documentation effort. I need to invest in a GPS ASAP to take full use of this ap...

I love Remote Remote. I have been using it since 0.5.4b and love all the new features. It is very light weight, simple and effective. It has been rock-solid since day one and is an essential tool in my iTunes music system.

I have all my music stored on a server, played through an old computer and sent to my Airport Express when I am upstairs. Remote Remote is the last piece in the puzzle and it fits perfectly!

I love that you can now rate a song. I have been dying for that feature.

Request:
I would love to see the ability to add a comment remotely, too. I have a radio show and I add the comment "clean" to tracks that meet the FCC's guidelines. Even better would be a few user-assignable buttons that can insert user-defineable comments; clean, curse, etc.

Thanks,

Wow. I am impressed. This is a very unique, interesting, and useful application for its specific purpose. It works well and I have found it to be stable. It is a little un-Mac-like, but not unbearably. I would love to see a more standardized UI and keyboard shortcuts. The developer has a good tutorial online that helps you figure out the application and get going quickly. I especially like that you can customize your Photo Maps from templates that use HTML and CSS.
Worth a look...

I have been in the market for a good project management ap for a while. Since I have been MS free since 2003, there aren't many options.

Merlin looked interesting. It seems to be moving in the right direction, BUT...

The website is very poorly translated from German and is almost unintelligible. It is almost funny it is so bad. (Of course they did better than I could if I tried to make a website in German...)

The application seemed pretty nice when I downloaded it with a good layout and design. I noticed the templates were pretty lacking, but that will improve... it wasn't clear that you don't need to use a template and can just continue setting up a project. There are several items in the project entry wizard that should be options, but are currently required. Everything looked good until I tried to finish setting up a project...

Beachball! Merlin is listed as a 1.0 app. I would put it more in the 0.75 area. It needs a bunch of stability work and the inclusion of some standard interface elements. The documentation needs a bunch of work and the website needs to be translated properly.

With that all said, I am keeping my eye on Merlin. I think there may be some magic from this one...
