My earlier review on this app (Ver9) was unfavourable because the developer had seemingly abandoned it. However, since it has been resurrected under version 10, I am very happy with the app and the support. The features and reliability have always been first class and I have used this tool to dig myself out of many a hole when files have become completely disordered on the system or apps have left dross behind when being removed.

Stable, Fully featured, well thought out, VERY powerful, well supported. Probably the best file/ document organisation tool available for the Mac.
I wavered for a very long time before purchasing this app (and have tried most of its competitors). It seems that you do get what you pay for. There are many cheaper products out there but none can match DevonThink in features and performance in my opinion.

Forgot to add that a "search/find" facility would be most welcome so that individual entries could be found quickly. If it had this and was cheaper, I would prefer it to webPM2.

But this has only the same features as Web Passwords Manager (webPM2) which is donationware. On that basis, the price should be lower or be donations.Password Compass has a slicker GUI but has no more features than webPM2.

I think that "developpers" who just disappear without a bye your leave or "sorry but i'm shutting up shop" are a disgrace to the app developer community. I would boycot any future offerings from Larry no matter how good they were.

I actually like the interface to this app and cannot agree that it is ugly. Not slick, perhaps, but functional and easy to use. Better than many of the "bloatware" offerings out there.I have become tired of iCal's tiny font (one of the penalties of ageing !) and like the fact that I can customise the display font to my diary entries on Mr Diary. Some users might find the functionality of this app too limiting for their needs but that depends on how complicated a life you lead. Would like to see the addition of iCal imports though as this would make life easy for anybody wishing to transfer from iCal. Overall though I am very happy with the app and am finding it very stable so far.
