Mac OS 10.7.5

I activated my license from MacHeist 4 Bundle, opened it up and was prompted for a 1.0.1 Update, which failed. I gave it a chance, closed the app and tried again = failed still. I had to download the latest version from the company's website to update.

After doing the manual update, I was greeted with a truckload of "moneybags". First instinct was to delete all of them and manage my own. After deleting all of them, I tried to make my very first transaction, but after typing in the field and pressing enter nothing happened. I tried again for a number of times and got frustrated since I looked at the manual and followed exactly what I needed to do to add a new transaction. Nothing happened still. I closed the app and opened it again and it worked. I then tried to add a "moneybag" and then a transaction - failed again. Can't add a transaction when you have a moneybag. First impressions thrown right out the window!

On the other merits of the software, it feels too busy. The user interface is not streamlined. There are tabs below "Income", "Expenses" and are repeated on the quicklook bar at the top, and repeated again in the settings menu on the right.

This software showed promise since I enjoyed using CoinDrop (different developer) on my iOS devices and it has a somewhat similar concept. It has failed to deliver and I'm glad I only got it as part of a bundle.
[Version 1.0.1]
