Installed a ssd drive in my old iMac late 2009 (gave new life to an old mac)... but have recently had some problems with disk permissions. Dialogue warnings 'you cant' save this, you don't have permissions to do that.

Even though I change permissions in the Info... still doesn't work. Sometimes the info shows dublicate of users for 'myself' and 'everyone'. Resetting permissions using Apple Disk Utility app, didn't solve the problem.

Permissions Reset doesn't have many features and kind of an oldish user interface... but it did solve my problem with disk permissions... and I'm on Mavericks.

The Apps is free... so it doesn't hurt to see if it can solve your disk permission problems too!

Thanx!

One of the best note apps around... and I've tried dozens.

Write notes, store notes, organize notes... and post them to e-mail, message, facebook or twitter if you like.

Add comments, tags, notes to your notes if you like.

And a nice clean interface and app workflow. What could one ask for more? Oh... well — one thing. An option to add simple tables... though they can be pasted from number — to save time it would be great being able to add tables from the app itself. I have a lot of notes that deals with prices and table like data.

If you need a noteapp for your Mac... this is it. State of the art!

Never would have guessed tables were hidden under the menu item Preview and text (!) But of course you can... I really enjoy using Together. It made the I-use-it-every-day status, and so far the best note app I've ever worked with.

Indispensable to my workflow.
Would like to see an option to automatically narrow the window shaded window... to make more room for window shaded windows on the top of the screen.
Great app. Worth every penny.

Even though I got Photoshop in my toolbox... I love those small apps that just make our everyday digital life easier. Portrait Painter does a very nice job - and does it fast. Though you can do what Portrait Painter does... in Photoshop - you can't do it no near as fast.

Great little app. Love it!

Half a year after purchasing the software... time for evaluation. I sometimes get carried away with the new software I buy, you know :)

So the question is... has Portrait Painter survived on my Mac?

Yes, indeed. I use it every week. It's not Photoshop (that I use everyday on work)... but when I get home and need to give an image an extra little something — I often turn to Portrait Painter, because it does the job in seconds. I do sometimes... though — use photoshop to add an extra touch to the images created with Portrait Painter.

Verdict 6 month after purchase: Still 4 stars.

Nice app... make's it easier to create those cool kind of Roy Lichtenstein raster images. To be honest - I'll probably not use it more than couple of times a year... but that's enough time to cash in :)

Bought Clarify quite some time ago - and use it regularly. It's simple and great... and I recommend it. But now ScreenSteps caught my attention. Absolutely gotta own that little piece of brilliant software too.

Might be to early writing a review after only couple of hours of use - but I really really have been looking for my own personal bartender to take control of the tons of menu apps I have... very confusing - before the Bartender came into my life. This is a must have - if you're a software addict... like me.

Menu bar items - has a total width of 1218 pixels... even on an27" iMac - this is a little too much!

Dear bartschendersch yoursch are my bestsch friendsch.

Wishlist:
• Being able to rearrange non system menu items.
• Group menubar items.
• An option so the Bartender menu stays visible at all time.

I've actually removed all Apple Items to the Bartender Menu instead of the other way around. Would be nice though - being able to move Sportlight and Menu Clock back (but probably not possible... )

Great app - I recommend it!

Not a lot of features... just a second menubar for your secons monitor. Just the way it's supposed to work.

For all you long distance mouse runners - you no more need to move cursor from the extra 22" screen to the iMac's 27" screen and to the menubar...
