While I would love to see the batch processing feature, I am simply appalled at the people who are berating this program and it creator - it's a marvel as far as I am concerned and I will be gladly donating to this fellow as soon as I can - gads, I would kiss his foot if I knew where to find him.
I have been using Doug's Applescript (Set Video Kind) and would probably kiss his foot too, but this only modifies the iTunes directory, it does not permanently tag the files as Tv Shows or Movies. If you remove the file and add it back to the iTunes library, the file will revert to its original "Movie" status and you have to run the script again - which you can do in a thrice since the program is all about batch jobs, but it is nice to have Lostify not only do this permanently, but also allow for adding descriptions to your shows. I have been using an Apple Widget called Descriptor to automatically retrieve show descriptions, but to my horror, discovered that the descriptions vanished if the iTunes directory changed or the file was removed and added back to the library. Once Descriptor retrieves the show description, you can then use Lowell Stewart's Lostify to rewrite the tag permanently - bless'em
