I came here to check out Knox because it was just purchased by Agile.

I'm a little confused, however. What benefit is there to using Knox as opposed to standard Mac OS X encrypted disk images? What extra does Knox offer? I'm honestly curious, and hope some Knox users point out its benefits.

Thanks in advance!

I was experiencing the problem where the CPUs in my Early 2009 "Nehalem" Mac Pro would get hot whenever I played audio, and this update fixed the problem for me! Thank goodness!

Nice, but why the pink? Please make a gray option or make the colors user-selectable!

How does saved document size compare with the same document saved in TextEdit as RTF, in Word 2008 as doc/docx, or in Pages'09?

Previous versions were very useful, buy annoyingly slow. Version 1.6 is just as useful, but now FAST as well! An excellent update! This developer has my thanks for making such great tool, and version 1.6 definitely warrants a donation!

Is there any disadvantage to buying this "bundle" over the standard version direct from Advenio.com?

For example, if the distribution deal with Mariner Software ends, will I be able to continue to get free updates of MacGourmet and the three plugins from Advenio? I'm a little leery of buying the bundle because of this...

The official site now lists the game for $24.95, not $19.95 as MacUpdate noted or $9.95 as the previous poster reported.

I love JollysFastVNC, and we certainly can't complain that its not updated regularly! :)

I'm really pleased with this (FREE for owners of version 1.x) upgrade! SuperDuper is still extremely easy to use, and the new scheduling feature is working wonderfully. I find it clones faster than Carbon Copy Cloner (also an excellent product), but to be even more reliable (CCC would sometimes fail cloning to a Firewire drive, but SuperDuper has never failed me). In the year or so I've been using SuperDuper, it has been 100% reliable (I use it to clone 4-5 volumes, ranging in size from 80GB to 225GB, weekly). I mainly use its "smart update" copy/clone feature, and this has always worked perfectly for me.

MenuWeather was also using 3+ GB of RAM on my Mac Pro.

You all should also check your "~/Library/Application Support/MenuWeather/MenuWeather.log" files. Mine was 1.05GB in size...

I've stopped using MenuWeather for now, as these bugs are very troubling.

This version won't work for me at all; the app just seems to hang. I can force-quit it, at least (i.e., it doesn't hang my whole Mac). I'm not impressed...

I love Layers in general, but the new WebShot feature isn't working for me. It "locks" Firefox 3.5 (the final release that came out today, 2009-06-30) with a spinning power/wait bezel overlaid on top of the Firefox window. I can switch to other apps, but Firefox is locked as the topmost app. The only way I can "release" Firefox from Layers WebShot is to kill the Layers process via Activity Monitor or "killall" from Terminal... I hope they resolve this problem, as WebShot sounds like a TERRIFIC new feature.
