Why to not use Aperture? Because it will not run on my quad core (old) 2007 tower speedster. Ya gotta have Maverics. F*#@ As I do also use Lightroom, guess who just made my day. I would bet Adobe will support for some while in our future.

Question here being a paranoid person. I am about to dump a ton of notes, etc. that I have been pilling up for the year into Notebook. These are photos as well as screenshot of my various endeavors. Is it possible to collect and open the file from Notebook in Textedit or another application at some late date if God forbid Notebook falls down? I appreciate the answers guys. Thanks

Can anybody tell me if this will let me keep my 'Scrapbook extension'. I absolutely cannot lose this function. Can (is) there a better solution and can it import my hundreds of save's? Thanks

Hi guys. Using a Windoz machine here with LibreOffice 3.6.0. Since updating to this version I am getting this crash message everytime I use the drop down menu for sending a message. Every time. It is as; LibreOffice requires a Java runtime environment(JRE) to perform this task. The selected JRE is defective. Please select another version or install a new JRE and select it undr Tools-Options- LibreOffice-Java. Now I have done so, that Oracle's and another. Both are newer. I don't know how to fix this error being a mostly Mac guy. Now I don't need to send mail, just posting this error message for your interests. Workarounds? I won't post any start here yet for this version, though I do use the program all of the time as my office suite. Ok so MacUpdate is making me rate it. These for past versions to last.

ok guys, i'm standing by my rating and review. no, i don't have any evidence as i am not any kind of developer, but just an end user. been an end user as of lisa. go ahead and hit me. i have said what i see and get, have said. we ALL know there are issues with flash, c'mon, and face it. the last two versions of safari and firefox are part of the problem, sorry to not have said that. how much they are... i don't know. but, before those versions, flash seemed to play nicer with them, as i stated re the period's of time between restarts. it is has/had been crucial to me for them to run properly. without incident. im confident it what i had written. you sound like developers or consultants, i get it, from your point of view, so, you tell me more. tell me exactly what versions of these software solutions.....you....use, extensions, as I don't have them downloaded and installed. I would know/believe you are running with quite a number of them as in the case of your line of work/s. thanks guys.

I can't TELL YOU what is wrong with is PSYCHOS.... that's my point! It sucks. Literally. As I followed up, tell me what you are using that is a better scenario. I will move back a few versions if necessary for myself. You cannot tell me "But a negative review should be based on what's wrong with the software...not some vague......" That is ADOBE'S issue to find and fix...or...Apple. NOT mine! As I had said before "I love and use Adobe products from Production Studio to Final Cut. It's what I DO period. Thank you.

OK.... I've been a sucker. Now, I finally see it, feel it, and simply don't like it. I've got a killer machine, 7gigs memory, terabytes and terabytes of memory and slow as mud, old mud, I can see dinosaur's. Now I know what this/these threads are about. I get it. I've had Safari, Firefox, Google Chrome, all running at different times, and from a day or a week with varying amounts of pages and tabs open. Like 50 tabs for my different interests. None of them 'weird', porn sites, nor any of a suspicious nature from my mind frame. I've had two different browsers running some of these times. Upon restarts, the Browsers run just fine, but as they sit there by their lil selves, the memory leak (my word for it) just builds and builds. Love Adobe for what their other software does for me but this is a huge problem.....as others note. I am still unclear as to what else to replace it with. Sure I have VlC, ClickToFlash, but??? Thanks. (Why its even stalling me to write this review.) aakkk

Ok, I will have to input myself as well. True as below re; ' A Donation'. It IS required now from my perusing the whole of the site. No way to get a download without a 'donation'. Look up donation on Wiki. This is now a 'Purchase' and none other than that. While there was a early adopters 'fee' in the past, it is not shown as that anywhere I could find. I don't want to pass, but at this point 'without' any fee in my pocket to donate or otherwise. I have donated in two years past as well as bug reported, and have worked on color matching and names for the drop down. I was given a 4 star rating for the help. I see this as a sort of let down on their part. I would like to keep up the support as I see the time. Should we all not. Thanx.

I'm sorry, but the true fact of the matter is that it is now considered 'COMMERCIAL' not donation, nor shareware nor freeware. FACT period. You cannot say it is not period. Fact, I have liked and used and donated to NeoOffice since I found it. I find it a great tool, but until this is resolved I will stick with 3.1.2 and or OpenOffice. I like honesty.

Sesquipedalian, I'm sorry if you are reading me wrong. I DON'T mind paying any amount nor volunteering whatsoever. Not annoyed with that. Just a simple yes or no by the developer as to what is the truth. No I am not able to access the download. As in law yes or no, not maybe.

Did it Did it Did it. For some reason I could not get my audio from a video I had made. Been trying for a few days. X Lossless did it in minutes without complaining. YAY I couldn't give stars for features as I didn't have to try them...which is a good thing.

What??? $218 bucks. Why I've been using Vuescan for a dozen years and couldn't be happier. For $80 bucks so (mines permanent as an upgrade) how can you go wrong. It also covers the gamut of scanners out there, most... any ... of them dating way back. I love Hamrick for his dedication to his work. And his almost weekly refinements.
