I can not download AirPrint Activator - when I try to go to the website it tries to go to http://127.0.0.1/... for some reason. Is anyone else having this problem downloading it?

This is pretty amazing software. Our HDD got fried in a power surge and it wouldn't mount and even DiskWarrior couldn't even read it. Data Rescue 3 also had trouble reading it, but then it suggested using its "Clone" feature to copy the data to a disk image and that worked and it was then able to recover every singe file that mattered and more. It's expensive, sure, but if you need it you need it and it is much cheaper and faster then sending the disk off to a recovery service. Highly recommended!

My only complaint is that after it cloned the data to a disk image, it wasn't obvious what I was supposed to do to then recover files. I figured out that you need to mount the disk image (double-click it in the Finder) and further you must go into the advanced view to see the mounted disk image - it won't show up in the main screen showing available disks. From there it worked great! This wouldn't be an issue if you cloned to a blank disk and not a disk image, but I do wish it were more intuitive when using a disk image.

Wow. This seems to work great! I'm able to share any printer, including ones on our network, and using AirPrint Activator 2.0b I can print from my iPhone 4. i can't say that I print much any more, but when I do this will come in handy. I only just started using it, so not a review yet, but in my short test it seems to work really well. Also, FYI, you don't need to keep the application running. Just use the app to enable AirPrint sharing and then you can close it. Printing still works.

This version seems to work with my Magic Trackpad, so yeah for that! I concur with having it only list devices that are actually connected. I don't have a wireless keyboard nor Apple wireless mouse.

I would really love it if it showed the battery level of third party devices too. For example I also have a Logitech wireless (RF) mouse. Wish it would show the battery level of that. Not sure if that's possible, though, as I don't use Logitech's driver. Still, would be nice if it did work.

In any case, it's useful just for showing the battery level of my trackpad. Thanks!

Amazing customer service, especially seeing how this is free! And such a useful utility. Thanks again for the tweak to make it work great with Visor!

I've now had more time to put DataGraph to use and it is a truly amazing program. Aside from it's performance, which is incredible, I keep finding new things I can do with it. For example, I can generate plots by using one .dgraph file as a template and feed new sets of data into it from the command line (or from a script), and output a .pdf of the new graph, or whatever format. Plus I can set the value of variables, such as the title of the graph, from command line or script.

There are some bugs, for example I couldn't get my graph-title variable to go into the Title field. Selecting it from the pop-up menu did nothing. However, I found that I could put it into a different field and then drag it to the Title field, and that worked, so obviously this is just a bug that will hopefully get fixed. In any case I've got a workaround for now.

So, if you need to plot data on the Mac, this is a fantastic program to choose, and it's well worth the asking price. Highly recommended!

This program is pretty amazing. I've got a set of data that Excel and Numbers are incapable of handling in entirety at all, and even when I break it up into 13 smaller pieces, small enough for them to accept, they choke on even the smaller sets of data and are brought to a screeching halt any time I change anything at all about the graph (such as axis labels). The data isn't that complicated, there is just a lot of numbers. So I downloaded DataGraph and while the program is a bit complicated (though not that hard to figure out the basics), and there's a lot I haven't figured out yet, it was able not only to plot the entire data set in one fell swoop, but it did so in a few seconds. While I am struggling with the price tag of DataGraph, I find myself getting closer and closer to pulling the trigger because it is such a world of difference.

Woah. An update for the PowerMate? I "used" it maybe for a week before tossing it in a drawer and never thought we'd see an update. I'm going to have to scrounge around for this thing - I know I've got it in a drawer somewhere - try the new driver out and see if I can figure out why I bought it now.

The software for controlling buttons and setting their function is great. The one problem with the Logitech driver, and it's a huge one, is the scroll wheel. When I have this installed, scrolling with the scroll wheel on my M705 is horrendously awful. In Steam, for example, trying to scroll with the scroll wheel is incredibly painful. It moves a little forward, then jerkily jumps back, etc. It's pretty much impossible to use in Steam, and even more so in Steam games. Also it's wildly inconsistent. In some apps scrolling is ridiculously fast and in others its ridiculously slow. I end up having to make custom settings for a lot of apps just to get half decent scroll wheel functionality. When I uninstall this driver, and use Apple's built-in driver, the scroll wheel works perfectly in everything. Of course then I lose the use of the side buttons! I hate this driver with a passion. It's terrible.

I like this a lot, except that it doesn't seem to work well with Visor. I hope the developer can get that working. Perhaps in cooperation with the developers of Visor?

Well, that does make it work somewhat, but it doesn't open up the visor. It works invisibly, and then I need to bring up the Visor to see it. That will work for now, but any chance you could get it to open the Visor too?

Ever since I installed Safari 5 this morning, peridiodically the fan(s) in my first gen MacBook go wild for no apparent reason. Is anyone else seeing this? It's driving me crazy and making me wish I hadn't updated. I've tried removing most 3rd party plugins, but nothing has made a difference. When I keep Activity Monitor up, I see that periodically the "kernel_task" is jumping up to 56% CPU or more.

I tried running Onyx and it told me the disk needed repairing, so I ran Disk Utility on it and it found (and repaired) some issues that certainly sounded significant. I then ran Onyx and cleaned caches and rebooted and now it seems to be behaving normally. I don't know if it was the disk repair or the cache cleaning or both that fixed it. So this could be a case of an install causing an existing problem to be exacerbated. In any case it seems, at least so far, to be resolved, so I'm happy.

Great idea! I knew safe mode did a disk repair, but I never thought to do that specifically for the disk repair. Also I didn't know that it cleared caches. Thanks!

Well, I have to go back on it being resolved. Today I started getting the same behavior. I'm using Safari and then I notice the fans getting loud and the processor utilization going up and I bring up Activity Monitor and the kernel_task is up to 56% CPU utilization. After 10 to 20 seconds or so things get back to normal. I'm wondering if this has to do with the precaching it does of links. I wish there were a way to turn that feature off. Maybe there's a hidden setting?

Someone explain to me what "pervasive reach" is? Is that safe for work. ;) Seriously though, does this enable those rarely used arrow keys? Our 2009 Mac mini has had a serious case of Flash-app-arrow-keys-don't-work-itis for a long time now (see Club Penguin, et. al. my kids actually have to run Windows in Fusion in order to use Club Penguin. Thanks Adobe.) and no update has ever fixed it. I remember a day when the they worked on it, but I can't remember how long ago that was. They work fine on my 1st gen MacBook as well as my PowerMac G4 Dual-533, though abysmally slow in the latter, and with insane fan noise in the former. I'm not sure I'm going to even bother trying the updates any more because release candidate after release candidate, they still don't work.

After updating to 3.1 (from 3.0.x), when I try to launch Fusion it says it couldn't be launched on my computer! Anyone else having this problem? I've got a 1st gen MacBook 13.3" and am running 10.6.3. Previous versions of Fusion worked fine. Sad panda, here. :(

Ok, scratch that. I re-installed Fusion and now it's launching. Must have been an install hiccup.

For some reason my workplace is blocking the website where the download of this program is stored. Is there any chance you could put it up on a different site? Doesn't MacUpdate offer the option to host the file on their site? They use to in the past, but I'm not sure if they still do that.

I just tried this app with the sole purpose of using it delete duplicate messages and it was an utter failure. It searches my inbox, and while I can see multiple duplicates numbering in the 100s, it fails to find a single duplicate. I even tried selecting all mailboxes and it did find one duplicate, but that was it. Could this problem be due to my using Mail.app with Exchange?

If anyone knows of another tool to get rid of duplicates I'd appreciate it.

I was really liking Flow when I first got it from the MacHeist bundle, but now I can not use it to connect to my MobileMe files/sites. It just sits forever at "Listing ...". Anyone else having this problem?

It's good to know that it's not just me. I sent them a support request, but they haven't gotten back to me. On their support site they say they're overwhelmed ever since the MacHeist bundle that included Flow. Hopefully they are aware of the problem and will get a fix out soon.

I'm sure it can be fixed, it's just a question of how long it's going to take them. I presume we'll get a fix at some point, but it's pretty disappointing as Flow was one of my favorite apps from the bundle, and now it's nearly worthless to me until they fix the problem.

Does anyone know how to get this to work with a Hori Real Arcade Pro EX-SE control stick? This controller works fine in windows with the official driver, but this controller for the Mac doesn't seem to recognize it. The web site isn't terribly helpful, but mentions some plist file that perhaps I can edit to add support for this controller, but what plist file?

I still can't find that file. I found files 360Controller.kext and Wireless360Controller.kext in /System/Library/Extensions/, but nowhere can I find anything called XBox 360 Controller Driver with or with an extension. Would you look for that file on your system and let me know where you found it? Also, are you the developer or a user of the driver?

I tried to use this with my 360 to share my Handbrake produced H.264 files ripped from DVDs, but the videos only play for 10 to 15 seconds or so, and then they freeze up. They play fine on the Mac. Both the Mac and 360 are on a 802.11N wireless network. Is the problem here with Playback or with the 360's support of H.264 files?

This fix isn't working for me on my Mac mini (recently purchased) with the released Snow Leopard. I installed the new MenuCracker and and Sound Menu, logged out and back in and double-clicked MenuCracker and then Sound Menu. Nothing appeared in the menu bar. I have had success with MenuMeters, though. The 10.6 compatible version seems to work fine, but not SoundMenu (or perhaps MenuCracker is the issue?)
