I've been using Ghostery for quite awhile and I have loved it. However I just found that it was bought by Evidon back in 2010, one of the largest ad industry companies. This is truly a conflict of interest. The MIT tech review did an article about it here in 2013: http://www.technologyreview.com/news/516156/a-popular-ad-blocker-also-helps-the-ad-industry/

FYI: The new Apple update for Mavericks (10.9.2) with Apple Mail 7.2 will disable MailHub, MailTags, and Mail Act-On. But reinstalling MailHub (beta 1.7B64) seems to work. The other two are now disabled and non-functioning with the update.

Update since last night: Latest beta versions of all three appear to install and function properly on 10.9.2. Indev's beta versions for MailTags and Mail Act-On can only be found directly on their website.MailHub's beta can be found on Macupdate.com

I love this app. It's very simple and easy to use. You can use the menu icon to access it, like other capture apps, but this app is the best because when I do an "Apple" screen capture it takes over and pops up a window and gives me options. I can rename it, choose a different file format to save it in if I don't want the default (PNG), it let's me choose what folder I want to save it in if I don't want the default, or even discard it if I don't like the capture. This makes using it much more spontaneous than the others, what they call "screen shot monitoring." Compared to the others that charge, it is not expensive either. And I looked at the free ones today once more, especially the ones with five-star ratings, and I'm still staying with Sharpshooter. I've used it with every OS from Snow Leopard to Mavericks. Just installed it on Mavericks and it is faster than it was on Lion. In the past, when I've made suggestions, they've responded, too. They haven't had a review in quite awhile, and I thought it was time. I'm a fan and I am very grateful to the developers.

Link to LION version not working. Try this:

Note: Just wanted to make a comment, not rate the software since I haven't used it yet. Three stars is middle ground for this reason. Rating is not about sw, but required to leave comment.

Fabulous update. Version 5, aka 1.42, simply rocks. The new interface is very smart and well thought out. Thank you.

This is a stable program, great value, multiple OS version friendly, and it imports really well. I tested five of the top programs when I was looking to switch from Quicken 2004 in preparation for my Lion upgrade (Okay, I'm a little behind.) SEE Finance did the best import of all the finance programs. I've been using SF for over a year and finally bought a license today (new tax year!). My delay in buying wasn't because I was not sure of it, but because of some tight purse strings, otherwise I would bought this within the first 60 days. Before SF I had set my sights on another program and was testing it. It was "more seasoned" but I soon learned it had bugs and so did newer versions, so I bailed and loaded SF with my Quicken data for the next trial run. It's obvious the developers care about their product and they clearly want to make it the best when it moves from beta to 1.0. A couple things I would like to see is a way to undo reconciliation check marks if you make an error manually, and some color code or highlight system for items (e.g. personal reminders). That said, this does everything I need and I can't rate this anything less than five stars. Rating this wonderful app two or three stars because it doesn't have iOS app or you can't do online bill pay from within is not kind. What they currently are offering is great and if those features are absent that's fine by me. Remember though this is still a beta program, I haven't had any stability problems with it or bugs as I've seen in other finance programs, as mentioned. Can't wait for version 1.0. Thanks.

Basic. Simple. Free. Running this on Snow Leopard and Lion. Tried some of the others, including the paid ones and I like this player. Any glitches have been due to Pandora making changes, and not due to the software. The developer is responsive. And remember, this is free. No complaints. Just a thank you.

iTubeX is GREAT. I am very happy with it. However, whenever I quit, I get a message that it unexpectedly quit. This is on Snow Leopard. Doesn't cause any problems, but it is not normal, either.
