It's a good game, especially for a pre-release. It takes a LOT of resources though, especially for as (relatively) simple as it is. If you know about .ini files you can "tweak" it and it will run a little faster.

Overall, if you have processing power to burn, I recommend it. For anything with a single processor, though, it's likely to be too slow to play :-(.

This is a good game conceptually, but it needs some work.

First, the physics seem off. The cars "feel" like they are "floating" rather than sitting on the ground (the game models the cars as almost weightless), and the turns are more like the car rotating on its axis than actually steering.

The acceleration and steering are also a little sluggish -- perhaps the acceleration curve is too linear?

On the graphics front, it is nothing spectacular. The models are static (not animated), and the textures are drawn too large on the scenery, so it really look like it is moving fast enough to give that good racing game "rush".

The problems are fairly minor, and easily fixable, and although the game currently is not particularly impressive, it is a good base for what could by version 2 be a great game.

Does the same thing as Panther's built-in "Secure Empty Trash".
