The only Mac 3-way diff tool I know of.

Unfortunately an Eclipse-based Java app. That means an application size which is 220MB and a memory consumption which can easily go over 500MB of RAM with spikes to 1.2GB. And that's just for a comparison of a single small file while keeping the app open for some hours.

The screenshot having different rows for Advertising, Analytics etc. is for Google Chrome, not Safari. Disconnect for Chrome is at version 5.x while the Safari version is still stuck at 3.0.3. And that's a *huge* difference in functionality.

If you don't get the above screenshot read about resetting Safari over there in the comments:

The reason is you're having an old cached version of Disconnect which cannot easily removed by just uninstalling or automatic updating.

Bought Transmit 4.2 after getting tired of Yummy FTP's rather ugly interface.

But I feel like wasting money. I should've known better after trying Transmit 2 and 3 a couple of times:

After creating o local backup of a server using SFTP, Transmit ended up consuming 1.25 GB of RAM and 15 GB of used swap on my SSD, which both where only recovered after closing Transmit. Finishing download and closing the connection window didn't help.

The download also took unnecessary long (10h or so), because Transmit was using only a single download thread after some hours. I configured 8 in preferences.

What I'm still can't figure out is to change remote ownership. Using the information dialog locally gives me dropdowns to change owner and group. Remote these are read-only text output.

It looks pretty, works kind of okay but still isn't the best choice in FTP clients on the Mac. If you only want to transmit a couple of files then it may be okay.

Webbla in Mac App Store is still at 1.4.9 of March 2011, while this version is at 1.5.2 and also got an 1.5.1 update. When is it going to be updated?

No need for this app. The Finder has this feature built in.

Moving: Just press the "command" key while dragging the file(s).

Copying: Just press the "option" key (depending on the keyboard layout also labeled "alt") while dragging the file(s).

See for reference.

You're right, I forgot about the missing cmd-x. The reason Apple isn't allowing this feature is the time between cut & paste. If you "cut" a folder where is it gone? Nowhere. You still can write to this folder. Also while pasting this folder it still exist in the former place.

And command-moving is necessary for moving file(s) between different volumes. Standard behaviour is copying between volumes and moving on the same drive.

Doesn't need Flash to create the slideshow, but Flash Player to display.
