I very like this program. The ability to log in into all of my websites from where I download my bills and balances is essential for me. The use of RecordMaster's own internal browser simplify this task to some mere clicks with the mouse.

I also use EagleFiler for other kind of documents. RecordsMaster lacks EagleFiler's capturing capabilities (pressing F1 anywhere will capture the mail, webpage, PDF, file, whatnot and put it into EagleFiler), and scriptability. Furthermore it cannot allow for storing my files unsorted into any folder, but still remain ordered by tags.

So both of the programs have some usage niche for me ...

I have met the developer friendly and helpful with my problem I approached him.

Thanks for your products (I also own QIFMaster and PWMaster) ...

Very usable tool indeed! It complement the "Force Quit" window nicely. I like the choice enabling me to not only "force quit" an application, but also to try to quit it the smooth way first.

Furthermore it shows much more processes than the OS supplied "Force Quit" window. Often the process I want to quit is not necessarily an application and so I can only quit it via terminal or this nice tool.

The one thing I would like to see being added: a possibility to lock the screen via Ctrl-Alt-Delete.

Thank you developer!

Dear developer,

there are a lot of other window manager out here for OS/X. I've already bought some, but I am still searching for *the* one, fullfilling all my needs.

But to find out, if your one is the right one, I would have to test drive it.

So could you please make a demo available somewhere?

Otherwise I would not invest US$ 9.99 only to find out, that this was not the one I am searching ...

Thanks for you help much success for your product.

Really a nice pice of software! It does what it promise so far and does is nicely. It even have the feature to allow to move and resize windows with pointing into a window, hitting [ctrl] + [alt] (+ [shift]) and moving the mouse in the direction the you want to move or resize the window.

And just for those that are used to complain: at the author's webpage and within the preference pane's "About" page, the author stand clearly that he probably intend to make the utility commercial after the beta phase. I mention this to avoid, that this nice utility will suddenly get bad rating as someone become angry about this!

And to the author: in your license you mention I can get the sources. Are you serious about this? If yes, please mention where I can get them. If not, perhaps it would be better to remove that part to avoid people complaining later on.

All in all, thank you developper ... :-)

Reading the FAQ at the developer's site, I would call this a demo or trial ware not a free ware! The site itself offer you to download the trial version ...

Does anybody know, what exactly the difference is to the built-in screen-sharing feature of Mac OS/X?

Thanks in advance ...

Fine piece of software ... I use it daily.

Unfortunately there might be a problem with Safari 4.0.3 under MacOS/X 10.4.11 for Intel (with installed SecUpd2009-003). Safari will crash right at startup. If I remove the folder /Library/InputManagers/Glims then Safari will startup and work properly.

However, this problem doesn't seem to occur if running Safari 4.0.3 under MacOS/X 10.5.8 ...

@MISHA

I am really happy to hear this! I do not know, how to deal with Safari without Glims' help! So I did not even dare to upgrade Safari on my second Tiger installation yet!

The application is easy to use and the GUI is appealing. It also work at advertised. But unfortunately the developer didn't say, that his application did not hide the files and folders very securely.

All what it does is to create a folder named .SYS_INDEX which is hidden, as it begins with a '.'. But it is readily visible via corr. Finder settings or with Terminal.app via a 'ls -a' command.

Then it reverse the name of the file or folder to hide. A 'Archive.txt' will be renamed to 'evihcrA.txt' and put into said folder .'SYS_INDEX'.

That's it! This is not very secure and there are a lot of applications that give you the same level of "security" as this app!

So after all, this app is not for me, but your mileage may vary ...
