This is simply the best software available, on any platform, to monitor GPS cycling data. I've been using this for 3 years, and the developer makes steady improvements and feature additions, and he responds to user requests.

This is written by a cyclist, for cyclists, and is a compelling Mac-only application. This application is routinely recommended on cycling forums. I can't recommend it too highly.

This has matured very quickly in the past week. I just bought it. Developer is very responsive to bug fix and feature addition requests. I think this is THE way to add more sophisticated window management to what Apple provides, because it builds on what Apple has, the dock and command-tab switching, rather than reinventing a window management system from scratch.

There are still some things to test on this application: I haven't tested it with a dual monitor set up, and there are some questions (TotalFinder for instance) about how it works with specific apps. However, there is an "app exclude" capability that should handle the outlier cases.

Especially for $8, this is a great utility.

I like the idea a lot, but this is still buggy.

I'm not sure, but it doesn't seem to get along well with Desktopple.

Also, it is sporadic in showing preview windows for Excel 2008.

Finally, a suggestion. It shouldn't add things like the Microsoft Word formatting palette to the wndows list, because that isn't a document. At the very least, that should be an option.

Desktopple issue seems fixed, but the problem with Word/Excel persists in 1.07.

Choose any app from the dock other than Word/Excel.
Do command-option-h to hid all other apps.
Now Dockview will not show previews for Word/Excel documents.
Do "Show All" applications and Dockview will correctly preview Word/Excel Windows.

This is completely reproducible and almost certainly do to some strange window management done by Office 2008; Microsoft is famous for stuff like this.

All other apps seem to work, the only problem is with Office 2008 apps.

There is just nothing like DW. It has saved me, family members and colleagues at work when disks have gone bad. In extreme cases, it can be very slow, but it does the job when nothing else will. I once had to run it overnight on a drive that was reporting hardware errors. Somehow DW scavenged 99% of the contents of the disk.

I don't love their upgrade policy and the company relies too heavily on shipping physical disks. Come on folks, it isn't 1990; distribute the product electronically.

Even with that minor complaint, this is a stellar product. Someday you are going to need it....
