Does not run in Snow Leopard 10.6.8, the info are wrong here, but does run in Mavs. Its creator should be more accurate in presenting this app.

DiskMaker did have a problem in Mavericks in its initial beta versions, but now it is entirely reliable, I have used it several times. It allows to create a Mavs boot flash from the original Apple installer, a most comfortable way to reinstall 10.9 if need be. I have also created a Lion and ML boot disk, also running in 10.9. For older versions of the system, do use LionDiskMaker, not this version, which has been written for Mavericks.

Looks like a very simple and, at the same time, complex app. I have tested whether useful instead of an e-book dedicated app, planning to replace such an app with a simple, but useful search per folder. Works great, immediately identified some books randomly chosen. Seems like I am going to downgrade from a dedicated problematic app to a simple search based on folder organization.

Pretty app indeed. There is one and big problem, though: current development of things require integrated cross-platform solutions. Apple felt this trend, and has integrated OS X–iOS-iCloud solutions, to include Notes too (to just mention the equivalent of this app).
Without an OS X–iOS-iCloud, perhaps also Android, integration, this app, beautiful as it is, cannot survive.

I have been using 2.x version for some time, previously 1.x.x. I got an academic licence. It is not the best product on the market, and I do not find the recent update a trick. For the time being, 2.0.5 was a free update, it is less agreeable to find that there is no discount upgrade of the 2.0.5 users (or was it and is not any more?).
V. 2.x is a lot better than v. 1.x.x. Of course, I am evaluating another (better?) solution, for the time being let us be correct, iDocument and iD Plus are OK and within the good sense of an extra cost for a newer version.

I reply to myself: I hastened to soften the critical views. After removing iD plus, iD 2.0.5 did not recognize the library, which has to be reimported. There are 50 Gb of data there. Nothing seems to be lost though, nevertheless be careful if testing iDoc Plus.

A cryout of the classical Norton Commander for MS-DOS, a must for those times. That famous app had its earlier cryouts for Linux and some attempt for MAC OS X. Let us see whether its author wishes to promote something really useful and logical.

Definitely the best non-Apple browser, in competition with iCab.

This tiny app should be useful, unfortunately—even if a good starting point—its author fails in making it really useful. I currently use 5-6 kewylayouts, so my main orientation is the dashboard-like display of active kaylayouts upon switching them. Given their associated icon, this is sufficient.
This app would be indeed useful in case of full screen apps. the author must rapidly update it for 2 monitor use, which has become so comfortable in Mavericks, with both Apple bar up and Dock down.

A simple, free and very useful application. I am not a mathematician, am a linguist, but sometimes I/we need such applications for our formal presentations. I have used this one precisely for this purpose and have always been satisfied.

Simply wonderful, now Mavericks ready. I bought it within a bundle, one of the best ideas I ever had.

These keylayouts were created by me, and are fully functional. Note that there are broken links. University of Bucharest site has been updated, and you find my English softwre resources page at

Yes, correct, some had problems when installing via S.U. I assume there is bug in the small installer script, which should update from 10.1 to 10.1.1, the installer script interpreted (still interprets?) version 10 as identical to 10.1, and put the simple update there (35 MB). The problem is solvable via the full dmg update, at 95 MB.
