V5 runs fine for me and appears to run faster than V4 and the new Fusion.

The only issue I have is on Win7 (which was running fine on V4), the network icon says that the network is disconnected (it is not) and Aero is not working. The wizard to fix Aero said that Desktop Window Manager wasn't running which is why Aero wasn't working; and the wizard supposedly fixed the issue, but it did not. Wizard says the same thing every time I run it. And Desktop Window Manager service is running and nothing in the Eventlog relating to Aero, Themes, etc.

Speedwise, however, I'm very happy. This is using V5 to boot Win7 off of my Bootcamp partition.

Networking issue was a little snitch issue.

Aero issue is due to OS X drivers limitations 3D acceleration support is limited on Tiger with any graphics card and for Intel graphics on all systems. This makes official Aero support impossible.

You may try some hack though. It is possible to force Aero compatibility at the cost of possible 3D problems. In virtual machine properties select Hardware tab and Boot Order. Type in "video.dx_profile=6

The above hack worked on my Late 2006 macbook.

Worked fantastic in Leopard, but having issues in Snow Leopard. Intent is to backup every morning at 3am, but it seems as if every time I connect my machine to the charger, TimeMachine tries to backup. I feel sure this will be corrected soon (I've tried disabling the 'backup when disks connected' and toggling both on/off the 'backup while on battery power' options). Not sure what I'd so without this software since TimeMachine causes my CPU/Memory/Fan to spike everytime it kicks in.

What a great application! I didn't want to move away from RSS Menu, but wanted feed integration with my iPhone, so this application provides just that.

The only thing that might be handy is an option to tier the different feeds into sub-contextual menus (like RSS Menu - sorry, it's just a feature I love) that break out the different feeds.

Other than that, a superb piece of software!

iTerm is stable than me and still has some of those missing features that Terminal left off (most notably the tabs change color if activity happens in a hidden tab).

I'm sticking with iTerm. Thanks for continuing development on this great app.

Still takes forever to load large WMV files (ie from the time you click on it till the time it actually plays). VLC starts immediately, though it doesn't do as good a job of decoding it.

FYI, version 2.4 does not detect the VX Revolution on a Mac Pro (running Leopard). The same mouse works fine on my Macbook running Leopard. The mouse seems to work but cannot be configured via LCC.

Other things are detected and work on LCC 2.4 on Mac Pro (Cordless Comfort Duo keyboard). Yes, I've tried re-installing, rebooted, etc. I've also tried to get the VX Revolution to be detected while the Logitech keyboard is not connected, and that doesn't seem to work either.

Any ideas?

Trying up update my copy of Ubuntu Gusty (7.10) today which hasn't been turned on in a month, and midway through the updates, the VM completely hangs (On Mac Pro dual 2.66. VM configured with 1 processor, 512MB RAM). Fusion is completely dead and requires reboot (force quit doesn't work). After this, I tried re-installing from CD and upon trying to update the default 7.10 installation, the same thing happened. I have found nothing in the Ubuntu forums or on Vmware's forums regarding any issues. Any ideas?

One of my favorite programs!

Only issue in Leopard (isn't an OMC issue, but a Leopard issue), is the stupid nested contextual menus.

Anyone have a workaround for moving everything to the main menu so we don't have to go to "More ->" and wait for the rest of the menu to load?

Any ideas on why it takes a 200-300 MB WMV file like a minute to load in Quicktime. This is on a c2d Macbook w/ 2GB RAM running Leopard. Took just as long in Tiger. And yes, I have the "open local files immediately" option checked in the preferences and the files are local. I tried using VLC but it didn't do a very good job decoding the files. Any ideas?

Newest version seems to work for me. It doesn't require APE to be installed, but you don't seem to get the OSD when turning on/off caps lock etc.
