I have the Logitech Z-2300 THX-Certified 2.1 and although boom increases the base at low volumes there is a fair amount of distortion. The speakers I have can provide much better quality sound without distortion simply by turning up the volume and increasing the base.

I urge people to review the Microsoft terms for the use of OneNote. This item caught my eye from the terms of agreement:

"3.3. What does Microsoft do with my content? When you upload your content to the services, you agree that it may be used, modified, adapted, saved, reproduced, distributed, and displayed to the extent necessary to protect you and to provide, protect and improve Microsoft products and services. For example, we may occasionally use automated means to isolate information from email, chats, or photos in order to help detect and protect against spam and malware, or to improve the services with new features that makes them easier to use. When processing your content, Microsoft takes steps to help preserve your privacy. "

Listen...Listen...what don't you hear? That darn start-up chime. Thanks developers---silenced both my 27 inch iMacs (2010 and late 2012). Now my wife can sleep undisturbed:)

Has anyone tried this on Mavericks? Any issues? This is so effective on all my operating systems...SL, Lion and ML.

After the 10.9.2 update computer seems a little more responsive--painless update. There must have been significant changes under the hood to account for the performance improvements.

Web pages loading a little bit slower with 27.0.1 verses 27. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Reverted back to 27 with time machine...seems to be back to normal; not sure why there is a problem. Advise people hold off until the next update.
