After having downloaded the most recent version of LibreOffice, I feel a bit disappointed. Up to the 3.6 version, I could get a word autoformatted in the autocorrection, but this is no longer the case, and I am still waiting for the possibility of auto-hyphenation. Now, I must hyphenate a text after having written it, and the following text will still not be hyphenated, although the previous paragraphs already are.

What has happened to Mediathek? The last version, 2.6.4b, is the last one available, but the developer seems to have cancelled developing the software, and the server is taken offline, which means that nothing can be downloaded.

On the Hamrick homepage, I have found two different versions of the VueScan software. One is the version 9.0.96, which you get when you click on the red button. What is new in that version, I have no idea of, but there is also a version 9.1.10, which is the first version of VueScan that does not work on my system, a PowerPC G5 with either Mac OS 10.4.11 or 10.5.8. I have not tried it on the 10.5.8 system, because I only use my Plustek OpticFilm 7600 Ai on the 10.4.11. So, what's new in the 9.0.96 version?

Tonight, I was alerted to update Camino to the new 2.0.6 version, but just like when I did it with the previous one, 2.0.5, all my bookmarks and preferences had gone lost. Why can't this browser save all the settings and bookmarks between the updates. As soon as I have emptied the dustbin, I will remove the new version as well, because I find this behavior unacceptable. It sometimes removes stored passwords if they are not included in the keychain.

No, it is not the version I use and want to comment, but the one. Today, I wanted to start the hyphenation, but for the first time, the software hangs, and it will not finish the process. This is new to me, so I wonder if this is something that happens to it when the developer finds it outdated. I cannot use the version 4, because my system still runs on a G5 processor, not Intel, which is required for the version.

As I downloaded the new release of LibreOffice, I found that the spell checker and hyphenation do not work. In the previous version of LibreOffice, 3.5.1, I was unable to set the file location for my documents freely, i.e. select a folder somwhere outside of the system disk. This was corrected in the 3.5.2, but instead, I find the language module, at least in Swedish, disabled.
[Version 3.5.2]

In case I cannot remove my previous comment, I can now report that the most recent version of LibreOffice, the 3.5.2, works as it should. The spell checker now works in Swedish as well, and misspelled words are also underlined in red.
