"The user’s private key which is stored safely in our datacenter is protected by a password that is highly guarded. But for some users this is not good enough and we allow the user to secure this file with their own password. When this is done it is impossible to access the data without the user’s password."
That doesn't mean it's virtually impossible for someone else to access the data if the user can.
As I understand it, user's data can be accessed via any web browser, even if secured by their own password, which means Backblaze staff can tap into the line and access the data, too--and probably not just when accessing via a web browser.
I don't see this as being satisfactory for the enterprise.

It would be insanely great if Scrapbook would synchronize between hosts automatically--such as via a DropBox folder. I move between Macs throughout the day and don't like having to manually send/receive clippings. If I need a clipping from earlier in the day, I just want it to be there--no manual interaction, no hunting for which scrapbook it's on. Often a clipping I need is even on a Mac that's powered down.

Of course if a cloud storage service like DropBox is to be used, clippings must be strongly encrypted with a private key to keep even DropBox administrators' eyes out.

Great utility for local clipboard management, but syncing is highly problematic under Lion--it almost never works. Instances running on various computers on the LAN seem only to sync with others that are already running at login time (and then only rarely and fleetingly) and seem never to be able to sync with clipboard publishers that start later. Instances that start, stop and restart asynchronously (the real world situation) would seem to present a kind of "catch-22" situation that the developer needs to work around.
Matching of clipboard hosts is also imperfect--on some computers PTHPBP lists itself as a publisher to subscribe to.

Thanks for the Scrapbook suggestion. It avoids the aforementioned catch-22 by requiring the user to manually send/receive clipboard contents, and it maintains remote scrapbooks in separate lists from the local one, instead of merging all together. Even though Scrapbook is less convenient, I'm inclined to use it, since it does get the job done.
Sure wish PTHPBP would sync reliably!
