I have been using "MyTracks" for several months and never really got into it. The usability is okay, but if you use the software only every now and then the UI, especially with the "Fotoablage" is - let's call it a bit complicated.

HoudahGeo is different. The UI is much more easy to understand and locating pictures by simply pointing to the place they were taken is really easy and straight forward. The whole workflow is easy - import the pictures - geolocate them (several possible ways) - write the EXIF to the files or use other ways of exporting the data.
Also the support is quick and helpful. I'll contact them again with a few ideas. Overall a very nice piece of software.

It simply "works" which is the most important for me. Of cause, sync to online-accoounts would be nice, but I have tried other banking apps that had this feature and never found one, which supported all my accounts. So now I track purchases on my iPhone which get synced automatically, I have set up recurring payments in MoneyWiz caleder which I track with a single click and every now and then I sit down (maybe three times a month) to track online purchases. It is not the most efficient way, but it works well and intuitive, and this counts to me above all other.

Sorry but this software is too complicated to use. First of all, you can't just type in a URL. You HAVE to open it with your browser and the use a button to retrieve it from the current browser's URL. It uses Safari as default, what if my preferred browser is Firefox/Chrome/Camino/iCab/...?
Next, you can't make a comment for URLs. Just imagine having a long list of URL. How are you supposed to remember from the URL what the contents of it was?
Then, there is the "Date-Time" think. I cannot see any reason why the developer chose to program a visual clock and how it is supposed to work. I cannot drag the dials and there is no way to manually edit the time. Therefore I could only change between AM and PM which is rather useless and left me with a schedule of 12 hours or so.
Furthermore there is a feature to adjust the row heights of the main window - also useless because URL will not get a line break anyway.
Quite frustrated with this.

Nice idea, but no compatibility with several web sites. Also crashes quite often and is now completely useless for me since I cannot remove the web site that crashes SunFlower.

Version 1.1 has an error where stopping File Sharing through AFPStatus might log the current user out. I am currently investigating this problem, but I strongly recommend to use 1.1.1 in the meantime which prevents the log out. Thanks!
