I recommend Olympic Immigration to those who plan to file immigration applications by themselves. The software is well-designed and worth the money. It¡¦s rare to find an immigration service that does not overcharge its clients.

I am an Asian and my present husband is an American. My ex-husband and I have joint custody of my daughter. My husband is trying to help me and my daughter to immigrate to America. Many people have told me that we need an immigration lawyer especially when my case is not that simple. To save money, we tried some online service, but many of them have hidden fees and do not give a clear instruction on the whole process. We also didn¡¦t know how to handle my daughter¡¦s application. So we were very frustrated for a while.

One week ago, we were glad to find Olympic Immigration and downloaded it. The software is easy to use and very smart. It generates new pages with questions according to the information we have inputted. It remembers our answers and automatically filled out other forms with the same questions. It also estimates the strength of evidence of our Marriage (I like that a lot.). We finished my file first, and then created a file for my daughter by clicking the family button from my file.

After we answered all the questions, the software told us that it could handle both my case and my daughter¡¦s case. Then the software asked us to purchase a license if we wanted to print out forms.

Since we didn¡¦t find any review on this software, I had some doubts. But my husband felt it was similar to the tax-return software he used, so we decided to buy one copy. We purchased a license for my daughter¡¦s application. The serial number was received immediately by email. After inputting the serial, we were able to print an instruction telling us what to do and what to expect in the future, a cover letter mailing to USCIS with a list of the documents (check, forms, photo, evidence¡K), and completed forms. It prepared not only I-130 for the first stage, but also forms such as DS-230 and I-864 for the later stage. We didn¡¦t expect the software could do that much. We were very satisfied with the result, so we bought another license for my application. This time, it prepared 8 forms for my case :) ƒº

A few tips:

The help file of the software is not that easy to understand. When we were not sure about answers, we just contacted the company. They are very nice and knowledgeable.

At the beginning, we bought a standard edition ($49.99, lasts for 6 month) for my daughter¡¦s case. Later, we bought the extended edition ($79.99, lasts for 7 years) for my case. I think the extended edition is a better deal since I can use OI free to apply for citizenship 5-6 years later.

I hope my comment can be useful to those who are as frustrated as I used to be. I also hope that Olympic Immigration can make their help-files more powerful but with simpler words in the future. Most of us don¡¦t know much about laws. So the simpler, the clearer, the better.
