This game is the bomb.

Admittedly, it's a bit of an oddball game, so I'd say, if you don't like unusual games that demands some of your time to get to learn, you may want to pass this one. But on the other hand, if like original games with alternative concepts, you will love Toribash!

To me, playing Toribash for the first time gave me the same feeling as I got when first saw the Matrix I movie, wow!!! There is a special kind of feel to the moves and fights going on in Toribash: sort of a perfect mix between ridiculous nonsense and super dope, abstract stuff that the Matrix makers could never, ever come up with.

It takes a little while to understand the mechanics, but once you know how it works, it all makes sense and you WILL become able to sucessfully do things with that fighting ragdoll of yours. It's like learning to walk, in computer world.

What I also like about Toribash - as opposed to other fighting games, where you just bash a button or two, as fast as you can - is that Toribash introduces a certain level of strategy. One thing is to cotrol your own player's moves, but after a while, you'll notice that it's almost equally as important to actually predict the opponent's intentions, and hopefully learn how to use that to your advantage.

This game's truly innovative, and an interesting alternative for those gaming geeks, who are looking for something fresh.
