Quiet Read Pro is an excellent complement to Instapaper and should appeal to anyone who has scrapbook tendencies when it comes to web browsing. I very much like the UI of the dock mode of Quiet Read Pro. The tagging feature is great, but for ease of use the application could cache the most frequently used tags. Overall, Quiet Read Pro has a simple user interface and is a joy to use.

I do wish that the menu bar mode had an option to turn off the translucency and to adjust how the menu drops down. Standard Mac OS menu bar items drop down to one side of the menu bar icon rather than the dropdown menu being centered on the menu bar icon.

As far as additional features go, I hope that the developer will allow for the creation of multiple collections of URLS, so that I can manage URL sets by topic rather than having to tag everything to keep it organized. Preview images with the option to set the file size of the cached preview would also be a great addition.

The developer was quick to respond to my inquiry about whether Readability will be supported in later versions. Readability compatibility is a possibility but not certain yet. I am confident that the application is under active development and look forward to future features.

DwellClick really improves the user experience and has quite a few customizable features. The feedback via both sound and countdown animation of a colored circle highlight are well-implemented. The developer is very responsive and is actively adding to the feature set of DwellClick.

I think that it would be nice if you could save different quick access palette configurations and switch between them. Also, the inclusion/exclusion list in the preference would be more useful if you could save different sets of rules and switch between those sets.

It's a great piece of software, and I know that certain planned additional features will add to its value. I must admit that at $15, DwellClick 1.5 is not an impulse buy. I highly appreciate the fact that the trial shareware version was full-featured and good for an entire month.
