Haven't tried version 5, but looking at the screenshots I could imagine the hassles. But will let myself try it.

For anyone looking for the last older version (v. 2.8.0.866), the download link is still on Skype: http://download.skype.com/macosx/Skype_2.8.0.866.dmg

Grab it while it's still available. And probably somebody could upload it somewhere else then share it :)

"Download Adium 1.4" is showing at Adium's website. So i guess it means this one is the final version.

the webcam is not working on my mac (MB404, early 2008). just pitch black. So i keep using the previous version though it is also buggy (the webcam will be off after a certain period automatically....)

anybody knows why Yahoo is (so) slow on YM for mac?

I have just upgraded to Snow Leopard, and now the gmail notifr doesn't show the number of mails beside its icon on toolbar. Any suggestion?

a nice software. Pretty informative for some types of users who'd like to upgrade to Snow Leopard.

I only have two suggestions, but both are just cosmetics:
1. A better looking icon
2. Simpler (and shorter) name, perhaps? hehe.... :)

This app is very promising. It has a nice interface and features. Unfortunately, I can't use this app to check my google server email so I keep using Gmail Notifr.

I'll keep looking for its development progress

just an idea...
perhaps you could integrate this software (or the informations provided by this software) to the system preferences?

My macbook (MB404, early 2008) is now 64bit processor, EFI, kernel boot mode, and 32 bit kernel, with the unsupported symbol. Originally, the status was 64bit processor & EFI, 32bit kernel & boot mode. And it's said that my mac isn't supported. Can you tell me what does it mean?

I looked at the activity monitor(before i changed the kernel boot mode to 64bit) and the apple's built-in apps were running at 64bit mode. It's the same after i changed to 64bit boot mode.

My point is:
i'm curious with the unsupported status (the X) and the different status of my kernel (after i changed the kernel startup mode to 64bit).

any enlightenment for my slow brain?

my newbie head says:
i thought when i'm booting at 64bit kernel, the other kernel status also would show 64bit ?
