Why this has so few stars as beyond me! After trying many apps., including iPhoto, this one is outstanding for its flexibility and ease of use: for the ability to layout single or multiple images on a page, to place and size each one exactly as required (even to overlap if required. and adjust them individually into the placeholders is as straightforward and reliable as it could be. Optional layouts are offered, but it is so easy to make your own as you work that I never need them.
An outstanding workhorse for its purpose.

Very useful app.; small, clean quick and efficient. Does exactly as claimed.

And recently had cause to thank the developer for extremely prompt and effective help.

As a long term supporter since its early days I find that Lyn has the potential to be top of the class, with easy, clear usage for examining and comparing image files . . BUT, unfortunately, the zoom settings do not work satisfactorily (using OS 10.8.3).

Testing with a mixed sample, in Lyn's List View:

1. On "Zoom to actual size" all samples showed appropriately.
2. On "Zoom to fill screen" some JPG files responded to fill the display screen showing the complete image, but others, and all the PNG, ICNS, TIF and GIF files, expanded to fill the screen on the smallest dimension resulting in the window having to be scrolled in order to see the rest of therimage.
3. On "Zoom to fit screen" no images appeared at all with a single click, while a double click produce separate little icons on the desktop.

I have not yet been able to set the application to reliably show an entire image at is maximum possible size in the viewer window, a basic necessity for a viewer as in Phoenix Slides, Sequential, and MultiThumbs, and until such time as Lyn can do so I will regretfully leave it alone and use the others which do.

Very pretty, elegant looking and fun to play with for the first ten minutes, but a virtually useless application. I have a version 2.1.4 on my iMac (created 15-12-2012 8:23) but the website says 2.1.3.1 is the latest available (created 15-12-2012 8:32): i.e. my non-existent version is 1 second newer.
For support I tried to get the facts on it from "Support", and found plenty of FAQs which did not answer the question but could find no way to talk to a human being; no matter whether elegant or not I would have loved be able to talk to one!
A total waste of time and the expensive purchase price.
