This app has saved my bacon a number of times. I'll admit I've trashed files I later needed back (and Time Machine didn't have backed up). If you charge by the hour, the time you save in recovering a file you didn't really want trashed will pay for this utility the first time you use it.

Gorgeous film like rendering makes this the go to raw converter for difficult images and I often use it to compare the quality of other converters. The new dot release now supports DNG profiles which is a feature I use for nearly every image (in Lightroom. ). I still use LR 90% of the time and 100% for my DAM but now and then, I have to feed a raw to ID and I'm always very pleased by the results. Developer is very responsive to suggestions. If processing raw files is part of your livelyhood, the upgrade price isn't an issue one lick.

I'm not sure why this is necessary since OS X has had the digital color meter for years and years.

After 6 weeks of playing with this product, I've decided it's the best clipboard manager of the many I've tried. Especially after the new feature that provides a rolling "node" of clipboard data that doesn't get loaded into custom nodes I've built. It's fast and gets in and out of the way quickly. I can see a large group of clips I've saved for boiler plate replies easily and the find is really useful.

I'd give this product really high marks and would buy and use if not for one glaring problem. It doesn't have a dedicated clipboard just for every day copy and paste. Other products do. That can be a rolling clipboard of items you may or may not go back to. The locked lists are great as boiler plate replies and such but if unlocked AND selected, all your every day copy to clip board goes there which isn't what I want. If the tree as they call it is selected for a group of replies I've built to use and unlocked, anything I copy gets appended to that tree. Really poor design there which makes it a deal breaker. Too bad, everything else is great compared to the other clipboard managers I've tried.

Thanks for the super quick reply on my comments Ondesoft! Would this be found in the newer build (1.65.3)?

Downloading now.

None better. Been using it for years, it is rock solid and super accurate (99.7%) from June 08.

I've tried virtually every clipboard extender product known to man or dog. This product (iClip) is bar none the best. Elegant, fast, easy to use and the developer is working on improvements all the time.

Everything was working fine until two days ago, now the app crashes when launching. Sent it to support but haven't heard back to a fix. Either something got corrupted or an update elsewhere is conflicting with Clipbuddy. I hope a fix comes soon as I use this everyday.

No reply a week later. Not a good sign. That said, I did a search for Clipbuddy, deleted every file on my HD. Reinstalled, entered serial number and all is OK now although I do have to rebuild all my templates. Something somewhere got corrupted.
