I used to use the Web Developer add-on for Firefox but found it a little overweight and less efficient. For example you have to click 3 times and navigate carefully in order to use the context menu in it. The same with the menu bar, you have to click twice too.

Plus Firefox is really not suiteable for testing mobile web applications, it doesn't even support CSS 3D transforms which Safari was implemented for years. This is especially important for testing iPhone and iPad compatible web site. One example is the Panorama players for iPhone/iPad, it's great to test your Krpano iphone based web app on Safari, but not on Firefox.

This is the big reason I was moving from Firefox to Safari to do my web design task. Now this Resize Extension is a perfect add-on for my toolbox. Lightweight and efficient, only 16KB and most of the command can be done by only a single click.

Highly recommend!
