Awesome browser. Very fresh and clever design, no need for nonsense extensions here.

For being a so simple web borwser without any interesting features to offer, is very resource hungry and intrusive .

Firefox is good, very very good. Fast and less resource hungry than Chrome which tries to create the illusion of being lightweight and secure among others things.

Is open source so that gives it a immense value.

The bad: Firefox should try to integrate better with the operative system. The UI toolkit is horrible and that makes it difficult for a better integration. It needs better touch support and features, a dictionary for definitions.

But overall better than chrome and a decent alternative to safari

It just works and very well.
Not full featured like KeePass for windows or less bloated if you wish

The UI toolkit used is Qt4 which is good unless you just use plain vanilla QT4 which is bad

Developers should at least set the setUnifiedTitleAndToolBarOnMac ( true ); property in the main window widget to make it look better!!!! I did it and looks better and less distracting

Another alternative is to use wineskin and KeePass for windows. This alternative is better than using mono

Anyways, use it to create and annotate good long random passwords per website and other info. Command+C to copy the password and Command-B the User

Verdict: Use it!

Less features (or bloat if you wish) than before but still a very good browser.

The web is broken, immature and dominated by the will of very few but powerful companies. So, maintaining a non mainstream and custom rendering and layout engine for this mess was never going to solve the problem of Opera's inability to display "correctly" all those broken websites.

This move makes sense, although i would preferred that the Opera team choose the non google webkit engine .

I expect new features in the short term future releases that bring some of the old and new interesting, compelling and differentiating features for Opera.

I have seen a lot of whining from some users that do not understand and have no clue about how this world works. Sigh . I hope that doe not affect the moral of the Opera team

Opera now have to focus in : Mobile integration, developer tools, non intrusive social integration, Cloud integration, user interface innovation and goodies , performance and resources, Operative System integration, Security and Privacy features .... damn that is a lot of brave work! All of those have to be better than chrome and others. But right now, i like it better that chrome and that is good enough for me.

Keep going
