Nice idea but badly implemented.
Installed both apps on iPhone and Macbook. Signed up and began testing it out.

Sending from Macbook goes fine. Trying to send anything from the phone simply does not work, not with photos, documents, links or clipboard...Simply nothing. Rebooted, reinstalled... but same story.
Deleted this rubbish from my system.

I'll stick with DropCopy. It simply works!

I wish crybabies like yourself Harridtype would stop harping on about how good an app works for you and trying to blame a user when the app fails to deliver. Grow up! My mails to the dev went unanswered BTW.

My system is fine. DropCopy and similar apps work. Rread my comment again, if you missed it the first time and grow a brain.

Forget it. This is abandonware.
Bought the new iOs version last year. The website states new compatible Mac version coming.

It's said that for more than a year.
This is garbage!!!

I've looked and must say there is nothing in MacUpdate that comes close to the simplicity of this app.
I've used it for years and will hopefully continue to do so.

Other apps have the tendency to over complicate a very simple task. They have all sorts of options menus which are not necessary and take away from the functionality of the app.

Tiger launch is great. Open it and there everything is. Uncheck what you don't want, refresh. Perfect.

This is an amazing program. Well made, does it's job beautifully and to answer the post below is definitely a replacement for Skitch.

I've used Snap n Drag for many years and was looking for something with a few more options. Monosnap is it!

What is it with these so-called website download apps?
I've tried this.
Runs well, stable. Even let's me know when the site is downloaded.

Pity it doesn't actually download ANYTHING.

Good God! Back to Blue Crab.

Absolute garbage. Either it downloads 10% of the website (web page setting) or it tries to download the entire world wide web (website setting).

Tried a number of settings but still the same rubbish.

I agree with the poster below. How it got such good ratings I don't know. Probably dummy Macupdate accounts.

It is a good attempt. Firetask is not perfect but with the addition of the iPad/iPhone app and syncing it makes up for many shortfalls.

I like the fact that it's not too complicted. There's nothing worse than having to spend days working out a program and how to use it.

I hate the fact that you can't use the normal European date system. It forces you to use the rather stupid month / day / year setup which if you're not American is pretty useless at best, confusing at worst.

This update constantly crashes Mail. I've had to remove it and go back to the previous version.

This new version crashes while operating. Has happened 3 times since the update. I reinstalled the old version via Time Machine. Old version is still stable.

Nothing happens for me. App is open but everything's greyed out. Running 10.5 Intel Macbook. Also just a generic icon... maybe currupted file?

Hmm, would have been good but I get the same 'No permission' error. Tried deleting the server and reinstalling... no luck. Switched the webserver tab on and off... still no luck. Can't find anything on the site forum on how to fix it.

Back to .mac I suppose or I'll look for something else online.

Good idea. However very slow to play the video (tested it out on Anouk's Sacrifice and the video finally came up at the end of the song and then so slow it was unwatchable). The widget hogs CPU & memory so that the entire system becomes sluggish & unresponsive.
I reckon it'll be worth using after some more work.

I'm envious of those that were able to get this to work. I tried countless times and finally deleted the thing.

Seems broken on my MacBook since the last OS update. Now only get Question marks '?' instead of info. Reinstalled but still the same. Virtually useless now. Anyone else have this trouble?
