Wow! I made a clean install of Snow Leopard on my Mac some time ago, and LaunchBar was of course gone. But just an hour without LaunchBar was frustrating. Having to use the Finder or the stacks doesn't work that great compared to this application. It takes time and many times you end up not finding what you're looking for.

LaunchBar is therefore one of my most necessary applications. It also integrates great with many others applications, for example Firefox. It runs very light and hides when not in use.

I've tried QuickSilver and Google Quick Search Box, but they stand no chance against LaunchBar. Highly recommended!!!

This is a must-have application! I use to structure my folders as best and logically as possible, and it would have been difficult without Path Finder! You can dual browse and it shows you the complete path to current folder/file.

Path Finder has replaced Finder on my machine. It's fast, has a great user interface and it "just works"! I recommend it to all, especially to those who like to keep their folders organized!

A nice application that helps you create simple and nice slideshows. One of the features I find very useful is the possibility to export the slideshow as an application. You can use that single file/application on any Mac (FotoMagico doesn't have to be installed), and it stores all your photos, videos, transitions, effects and music used in the presentation.

Not so many advances features, but that's not always necessary either.

In my opinion, this is the ultimate GTD application. You can easily prioritize your tasks by numbering them 0-9, split them into different folders and create sub tasks. You can also tag, mark or edit an item by just pressing various keys.

If you want to organize your tasks, projects or just need to keep a simple to-do list, this is the best application for it. Of course, both OmniFocus and Things are great alternatives, but I still think that The Hit List has several advantages.

This is definitively the best journal program available! I've tried all the alternatives, but I always return to viJournal. It has a very elegant and friendly user interface. You can find and show your entries in various ways.

The last major to viJournal 2.x made this application the winner in its class. I use this program everyday, and I love it! Highly recommended if you want to keep track of your workout, daily life or a vacation in an elegant way!
