This application forces you to enable disk mode and manually manage your music for it to transfer audiobooks to your iPod. Having to manually manage your iPod pretty much defeats the whole purpose of iTunes.

This is not a Mac OS X good citizen application. It leaves badly named temporary files in your download directory. By default it stores audio files inside a Media directory it creates in the Documents folder instead of the standard Music directory. Finally, it stores files as audiobooks as MP3s instead of .m4ps which completely negates all the features of the iPod for working with audiobooks.
