Too many developers make big promises, write ambiguous text for marketing and don't provide a functional product. That's why we demand a demo. Show me your stuff works and I'll pay for it. No demo? No Trial? No Money for You!!

Two comments:
1. People are complaining about not getting a trial version of a $3 piece of software? Wow.
2. I don't see that this does anything not accomplished by the very well-done piece of software named Skim. So, I don't need a trial to save enough money to buy a cup of coffee, if I was desperate to do so.
