Insane is an application for viewing complete volume contents in base-16 (hexadecimal) and editing of the partition map. It is useful if someone needs to access parts of the volume not commonly available in the standard user interface.

Doesn't work for me.
Exception: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (0x0001)

Move it onto your hard disk and it will work. Attempting to run it from the disk image causes it to cause the problems described below.

fire up the app - up comes the usual dialogue box asking you to enter your admin password - enter your admin password and hit return - up comes the dialogue box asking for your admin password again... etc...etc... ad infinitum. dare i say "it's enough to drive you insane!"
