...This could be very cool. Like any file sharing system it is made by the actual content put on it.

I have been tracking the development of Aizai since last year, and the value of this product is as confusing now as it was when first released. Go to the website, look at the product descriptions, and everywhere it says "channel" replace with "website." In every way, and from every possible perspective, I have been unable to determine that this is anything more than a paid repackaging of existing web content as "channels." Sadly, it is even more difficult to use that a Google or Yahoo seach. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should.

Dennis, I think that the word channel cannot be replaced with the word internet, at least not everywhere. Think about the following. Most people that have internet access want to share their ideas, music, videos etc . ... with the rest of the world. But it is not that easy to do this. Because when you want to share thing through the internet you need to know a bit of HTML, Java, Flash and more of these nice letter words. But what if you just could use a tool where you could drag all your stuff into, write some text, never mind HTML it would make a journalist of everyone of us. Sharing isn't difficult anymore, it's getting fun ! And the channels are nothing more than a way to organize your stuff. Like TV channels, you could put your sporty stuff on the Sports channel, your photos of your ski holidays on the Aspen channel. Hell you can even create your own channels which only members of your own family can view. Can a normal internet user do all this ? I don't think so ;-) I do have one "con" doh ! The information on their website is not good enough so I could write a client for the windows platform although they say it's open source. Maybe I should ask a Mac for christmas !!!
