Great idea, and it seemed to work well. But iCal slowed to a glacial crawl after I ran it. I deleted the birthday calendar, and iCal was good as new again.
The program does NOT work with Tiger.
Bummer because Tiger's iCal does not permit Alarms in the new "Show Birthdays calendar" option.
Hope they update this app.
I downloaded iCal 1.5.1 as well and found that I have the same problem. BirthdayCal acts like it's working but actually nothing happens. This is a great utility I hope to an update soon to fix this problem.
I can confirm that iCal 1.5.1 breaks BirthdayCal 2.0. I upgraded iCal sometime this week, and just tried BirthdayCal today, and while it thinks its working, nothing really happens. Hope this can get fixed, BirthdayCal is the best of its type of program out there.
and for all those all-day events that aren't birthdays:
So you're a Mac user who decided to buy a t68i because you thought it would allow you to synch all the events in iCal into your phone eh?
Well if you're reading this thread then you've probably already figured out that you can't because the t68i doesn't have all-day events!
You might have seen Sony Ericsson press and promotions such as the following quotes from their website that led you to believe otherwise but now your just stuck with a phone that is of no use in making appointments because you can never be completely sure what you've got on each day.
